WALL PANEL FASTENING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The disclosure provides systems and methods for fastening wall and ceiling panels, such as drywall sheets, to framing members. The back side of the panels comprise a first touch fastening component of a touch or hook and loop fastening system configured to removably couple with a second touch fastening component of the fastening system. The second touch fastening component is provided on an outer surface of framing members that are configured to physically support the panels. The second touch fastening component may be coupled to a framing member, or may formed integral by the framing member. Some framing members may comprise a stud/joist, a c-channel, a fixed furring strip or an adjustable furring. The disclosed systems and methods may form walls, ceiling, partitions and the like.
Façade System
A plank (10) for a fagade system comprises a facia (12), a joining lip (20), and a hook (30). The joining lip (20) is recessed behind and extends alongside the facia (12) to overlap with an adjacent plank. The hook 30 extends behind the facia to engage a wall-mounted retainer (38, FIG. 3D). The plank 10 comprises a rail 26 to conceal the hook (30). In one aspect, the rail 26 extends beyond the hook to abut the wall, to restrict a tilt of the plank. In one aspect, the joining lip 20 comprises alignment features (22) for positioning another retainer (40, FIG. 3D). In one aspect, the facia (12) comprises blind grooves (52, FIG. 8B) mimicking inter-plank interstitial grooves. The aspects individually and combined reduce the resources required for covering a large wall area with aligned cladding facias.
COUPLING SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING TILES TO A BUILDING
A coupling system for mounting a tile to a framework of a building is disclosed. In one example of an embodiment, the coupling system includes a support bar arranged and configured for coupling to the tile and one or more clips coupled to the support bar. In one example of an embodiment, the clips include a tile-mounting opening for coupling the clips to the support bar and a frame-mounting opening for coupling the clips to the framework of the building to thereby couple the tile to the framework of the building. In one example of an embodiment, the support bar is arranged and configured for receipt within a longitudinal channel formed in the tile.
SIDING CLIP
A siding clip may include at least one tab having a tab through hole, a base having at least one base through hole, and a side portion affixed to an edge of the at least one tab at a first side portion end and to an edge of the base at a second side portion end, thereby forming a gap between the at least one tab and the base. The tab through hole is disposed opposite to one of the at least one base through holes. The siding clip further includes at least one coupling flange having a plane parallel to a plane of the at least one tab, and having at least one insertion feature. The at least one coupling flange is disposed in a direction opposite to a direction of the at least one tab.
Siding Panel With Improved Locking Mechanism And Method Of Manufacture
One aspect of the disclosure is a siding panel having a front face, a rear face, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side, and a second side, the top edge being folded over to create two layers of material. The siding panel further includes a first locking mechanism disposed on the front face adjacent the top edge configured to interlock with a second locking mechanism of a second siding panel, the first locking mechanism having a generally S-shaped portion. The siding panel also includes a second locking mechanism disposed on the rear face of the siding panel having a generally U-shaped portion including a curved section, and the second locking mechanism being configured to interlock with a first locking mechanism of a third siding panel. The first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism facilitate both locking and unlocking of the siding panel from the third siding panel.
System for mounting wall panels to a wall
A system for mounting wall panels to an existing wall, includes adjustment support members secured to an existing wall and including a platform and a side wall extending from a side thereof and including elongated slots therein; connecting panels connecting together spaced apart adjustment support members, each connecting panel including a main panel and a side wall having a slot therein which opens at one edge of the side wall for receipt in an elongated slot; and a hook member including a securing section to which a wall panel is mounted, an L-shaped hook wall so as to receive a connecting panel in a space between the L-shaped hook wall and the securing section, and an adjustment arrangement for adjusting a position of the hook wall on the securing section so as to move the hook wall toward and away from the securing section.
THERMAL INSULATOR MODULE AND THERMAL INSULATING WALL STRUCTURE USING SAME AND THERMAL INSULATING WALL CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING SAME
A thermal insulator module includes: a thermal insulating member; and a frame part, all or a portion of the frame part being embedded in the thermal insulating member, having a plurality of fastening parts, each having one side coupled to a wall body and the other side to which an interior material or an exterior material is coupled, the other side being at a different position from the one side coupled to the wall body.
Reinforcement restraint channel for a fa?ade panel
A reinforcing restraint channel that is inserted in and clipped to a terracotta/ceramic panel, improves mechanical safety of the terracotta/ceramic facade in case of catastrophic failure such as severe breaking, cracking, or penetration that would normally result in large chunks of terracotta/ceramic falling off the fa?ade, and posing a severe safety risk. Disengagement and falling of terracotta/ceramic chunks from the fa?ade is minimized when the reinforcing restraint channel is inserted into core holes in the terracotta/ceramic panels forming the fa?ade. A clip is also provided to secure the reinforcing restraint channel in place with the terracotta/ceramic panel.
System for mounting wall panels to a wall
A system for mounting wall panels to an existing wall, includes adjustment support members to be secured either directly or indirectly to an existing wall; connecting panels for connecting together spaced apart adjustment support members, with each connecting panel adapted to support a wall panel thereon; each adjustment support member including a central platform wall, and two U-shaped tracks extending along opposite side edges thereof, each U-shaped track including an upper exposed surface arranged parallel to the existing wall when the adjustment support member is secured to the existing wall and first and second end walls extending at orthogonally from opposite sides of the upper exposed surface so as to define a channel therebetween; and each connecting panel including a main panel wall and two opposite slide walls extending from opposite side edges of the main panel wall to be positioned in the channel for sliding movement therein.
System for mounting wall panels to a wall
A system for mounting wall panels to an existing wall, includes a base assembly adapted to be secured to the existing wall; a wall panel securement arrangement adapted to be secured to a wall panel; and an adjustment arrangement for adjustably securing the securement arrangement to the base assembly at a position with three degrees of freedom, the adjustment arrangement including a sliding member slidably received in the base support for movement in a first lengthwise direction of the base support and in a second transverse direction of the base support, the sliding member including two parallel, spaced apart capture walls extending from a central member thereof, and the adjustment positioning member includes an adjustment plate positioned adjustably between the capture walls for adjustment in a direction orthogonal to the first and second directions.
