FAÇADE CONSTRUCTION AND/OR WALL CONSTRUCTION
A façade structure and/or wall structure for a building which includes tiles (1) and a support structure (2), in which the tiles (1) are received oriented in each case in the vertical plane. The support structure (2) has taut tension elements (3). The tiles (1) received in the support structure (2) are mounted in a weight-supporting manner and/or held locked by means of one or more of the allocated tension elements (3), directly and/or via bearing bodies (4) attached to the tension elements (3). The several or at least one of the tiles (1) are or is allocated in each case at least one holding element (5). For anchoring to the tile (1), the holding element (5) has at least one anchoring portion that can be anchored in a receiver (1hn) of the tile, and/or cooperates with an anchor (6) received in a receiver (1hn) of the tile (1), and wherein the holding element (5) has at least one tension element gripping portion for gripping on at least one of the tension elements (3) allocated to the tiles (1).
A CLADDING ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a cladding assembly for cladding a structure, including a frame member, a frame formed by frame members and a preformed panel including a panel member. The preformed panel is formed by a frame member fastened at least partially around an outer edge of the panel member or the panel member being operatively associated with the frame. The frame member of the present invention includes at least two ends and at least five walls including a structure facing wall, an opposed panel member abutting wall, an intermediate wall positioned between and extending substantially parallel to the structure facing wall and the panel member abutting wall, a connecting wall and either an outer frame wall or an inner frame wall. In some embodiments, the panel member is a fire retardant panel member.
Hidden fastener unit and related method of use
A fastener unit and related method for securing a board to a support is provided. The fastener unit includes a spacer block, a grip element extending from the spacer block and configured to fit in and engage a groove of the board, and one or more board engagement elements. The board engagement elements can engage the groove of the board, thereby securing the spacer block in a position adjacent the groove to establish a gap between the board and another board. Related methods of use also are provided.
Siding clip
A siding clip may include at least one tab having a tab through hole, a base having at least one base through hole, and a side portion affixed to an edge of the at least one tab at a first side portion end and to an edge of the base at a second side portion end, thereby forming a gap between the at least one tab and the base. The tab through hole is disposed opposite to one of the at least one base through holes. The siding clip further includes at least one coupling flange having a plane parallel to a plane of the at least one tab, and having at least one insertion feature. The at least one coupling flange is disposed in a direction opposite to a direction of the at least one tab.
SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING WALL PANELS TO A WALL
In one of the embodiments of the disclosed system, the sliding support member may be comprised of the U-shaped plate that is separate from a forward extending support member, which further contains parallel capture walls. The U-shaped plate and the forward extending support member are then joined together using a dovetail joint, or another type of lock-and-key joint. The groove for such a joint is oriented at an angle, preferably a right angle to the direction of the slide of the sliding support member along the length of the base member. This embodiment of the sliding support member permits a mounting of the adjustable support member at an angle, preferably a right angle to the direction of travel of the sliding support member.
EXTERIOR SIDING MATERIAL WITH INTEGRATED SOLAR PANEL
A siding material for a building configured to hold one or more solar panels is disclosed including a siding shell including a first section and/or a second section, wherein each first and/or second section includes an essentially flat face disposed at an angle ranging from about 30 degrees to about 90 degrees relative to the ground or a perpendicular plane extending from a side of the building. In addition, one or more surfaces of the first section and/or the second section are perforated, and the first section and/or the second section each include a channel configured to hold an electrical cable.
MOUNTING RAIL
A mounting rail for mounting tiles to a backing system of a building wall structure comprises a tile support linked with a back-fixing rail via a tile-support carrier. The tile-support carrier comprises an acoustic damper between the tile support and the back-fixing rail. This impedes the transmission of acoustic energy from the tiles to the backing system, and so improves the acoustic insolation while the mechanical stiffness of the tile-support carrying arm is maintained. The acoustic damper may be provided in the form of one or more angled bends, apertures, an obtusely angled connection of the tile-support carrier to the back-fixing rail or a connection of the tile-support carrier at an upper or lower end of the back-fixing rail, or combinations of two or more of these features.
ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR DECKING AND SIDING
A deck system including hold-down devices for attaching deck boards to deck support structures and a siding system including attachment devices for mounting siding boards to wall structures. Hold-down devices are attached to deck support structures by horizontally-extending fasteners and attach the deck boards to the deck support structures without fasteners providing paths for water to pass through the deck boards into the support structures. Deck board engagement members of the hold-down device extend into slots in deck boards. Siding board attachment devices are mounted on upright surfaces of wall structures using horizontally extending fasteners. Siding boards are mounted with a standoff distance providing ventilation space behind and between siding boards.
FaÇade structure
A faade structure is described, with a substructure formed of support profiles, which is arranged in front of a building wall and anchored fixedly in the floor and/or in the building wall, with extruded faade tiles made of ceramic material, which are fastened to the substructure via tile holders, wherein the tile holders are arranged on all or only some of the support profiles, the tile holders being fastened to the support profiles directly or via separate supports, and the tile holders having receivers, which engage with edge areas of the faade tiles to fasten the faade tiles. In order to obtain a shake-proof arrangement of the faade tiles, it is provided that press-on elements are arranged concealed behind the faade tiles supported on the substructure; and that the press-on elements are in each case assigned to only one faade tile in such a way that the press-on elements in each case grip on the back of the assigned faade tile in an area which is arranged at a distance from the tile holders gripping with their receivers on the faade tile, and the assigned faade tile is resiliently impinged on in the direction towards the front like a shake-proof receiver of the faade tile.
