A ROOFING, CLADDING OR SIDING MODULE OR APPARATUS
A roofing, cladding or siding module is described. The module comprises an underlapping region adapted to be substantially covered by an exposed region of an adjacent overlapping module when installed on a building surface. A plurality of projections are formed on an underside of the underlapping region. The projections are feet to support the module on the building surface to provide a gap between the module and the building surface, and/or provide a profile on the underside of the underlapping region to define a pathway for air flow between the module and the building surface. Each projection is formed by a downwardly projecting portion of the underlapping region with a corresponding cavity in an upper side of the underlapping region, and the cavity is shaped to prevent or minimize water pooling in the cavity.
Ledger
A ledger configured for attaching to a structure, such as a house or building, is described. The ledger comprises first and second walls, a first ledge joining the first and second walls, and a second ledge also joining the first and second walls. The first and second walls and the first and the second ledges define a channel that separates the first and second walls and separates the first and second ledges. The channel is open at both a first side of the ledger, and a second side of the ledger opposite the first side of the ledger. In some implementations, the ledger further includes a third ledge. The first and second ledges join the second wall on a first side of the second wall. The third ledge is disposed on a second side of the second wall opposite the first side of the second wall.
WALLBOARD FASTENING DEVICE WITH GUIDE FLANGE
A method for installing first and second wallboards uses a wallboard fastening device that secures the wallboards to a framing member without fasteners passing through the wallboards. The device includes first and second framing panels joined along lengthwise edges at a frame seam to form a two-sided frame that fits around the framing member. The device includes first and second flat-spring flanges joined along lengthwise edges at a front seam. The device includes a channel-dividing panel joined lengthwise to the front seam and to the second framing panel to form first and second channels that are sized to receive edges of the wallboards. The device includes a guide flange joined lengthwise to the frame seam. A corner edge of the second wallboard may be pushed against the guide flange such that the corner edge slides along the guide flange, thereby guiding the second wallboard into the second channel.
Artificial Stone Construction Material and Method of Making
An artificial stone building tile and method. Disclosed is an artificial stone building tile and a method of making the building tile. The building tile has a low density and significant flexibility, and is nailable without cracking. It is made by layers of cement formulations separated by layers of metal mesh. Color batches of cement are prepared and placed in the bottom of a mold, with the color batches becoming the visible face of the building tile.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FASTENING FACADE PANELS
System for mounting facade panels, comprising a centring sleeve with a collar and a base and a fastening element with a head, a shaft and a drill bit, wherein the base of the centring sleeve is connected to the rest of the centring sleeve by means of at least one predetermined breaking point and wherein the base comprises an opening in which the shaft of the fastening element is arranged during mounting and wherein the shaft of the fastening element comprises a projection which causes a release of the base at the predetermined breaking point when the fastening element is in a predetermined position relative to the base of the centring sleeve as well as a corresponding mounting method.
Panel fastener
A panel fastener and panel fastening system are provided. The panel fastener includes a body having a collar and an elongated shank extending from the collar. The elongated shank defines an interior space and having a penetrating tip disposed at an end opposite of the collar. The panel fastener also includes a substrate fastening portion configured to be driven into a substrate and a holding mechanism connected to the substrate fastening portion and configured to engage the substrate.
MULTI-FEATURED PANEL FASTENER AND PANEL SYSTEM INCLUDING THE MULTI-FEATURED PANEL FASTENER
A panel fastener is provided that has a head having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface; an engagement feature on the first surface of the head, the engagement feature being configured to be engaged by a driving tool; a shank extending from the second surface of the head; a threaded portion extending from the shank, the threaded portion having first and second helical threads arranged in an intertwined manner; the first thread extending farther radially from the central axis than does the second thread; and the shank being located between the head and the threaded portion.

Connector for Lightweight Office Partition
A removable connector used for connecting two or more wall panels. The connector is accessible to a user in a vertical space between the connected wall panels open to both front face and rear face of each panel. The user is able to easily engage and move the connector, relative to the wall panels, to latch and unlatch the connector with a view to connecting and disconnect the panels.
ARCHITECTURAL PANEL SUPPORT
Support brackets for supporting panels, architectural panel systems, and methods of installing architectural panels on support structures. Support brackets can include opposite sides, four quadrants, through holes containing studs extending from one side of the plate, and a center hole. Architectural panel systems can include support brackets attaching architectural panels to a support structure, first fasteners attaching the support brackets to the architectural panels, and second fasteners attaching the support brackets to the support structure. Methods of installing an architectural panel system can include attaching architectural panels to support brackets with first fasteners, positioning the support brackets on a support structure, and attaching the support brackets to the support structure with second fasteners, for example, that extend through the support brackets. Architectural panels can include interior cutouts that pass sunlight to form aesthetic patterns of sunlight and shade in an occupied space.
