Siding lock repair clip and method of installation
The present disclosure relates generally to siding, for example, suitable for covering the exterior surface of a building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a siding repair clip including a hub configured to be secured to a replacement siding panel so as to be rotatable with respect to the replacement siding panel. The siding repair clip also includes a leg extending from the hub in a first radial direction and configured to engage with a lip of a bottom lock of an upper siding panel. A positioning member extends from the hub in a second radial direction and includes a first detent configured to impede rotation of the hub with respect to the replacement siding panel. The siding repair clip further includes a rotating member configured to rotate the siding repair clip about the hub in a first circumferential direction with respect to the replacement siding panel.
Architectural panel assembly and tools
This application relates to the field of reveal architectural panels and a tool or clamp for assembly thereof. The apparatus and method replace prior art assembly methods and fasteners with adhesives and a dedicated particularly designed clamp to facilitate assembly. The frame members are modified to facilitate assembly with adhesive sealants and removal of mechanical fasteners.
Apparatus and method for hanging architectural panels with concealed attachment points
A wall and ceiling panel system which utilizes a concealed resilient beam for securing a panel to a wall or ceiling structure is disclosed. A wall and ceiling panel system having features of the present invention can comprise a panel configured for releasable attachment to a latching assembly. The latching assembly can comprise a resilient beam dynamically secured to a base bracket so as to allow the resilient beam to deflect relative to the base bracket during the panel installation and removal process. The panel can comprise a keyed flange having at least one locking slot configured to mate with the resilient beam, with the panel becoming secured to the latching assembly once the panel's key flange is mated with the resilient beam.
Siding Attachment Accessory and Siding System
The present disclosure relates generally to siding, for example, suitable for use covering the exterior surface of a building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a siding attachment accessory including an attachment platform having a front face and a rear face. The attachment accessory also includes at least one siding hanger extending forward from the front face of the attachment platform that is configured to hold a siding component. Each siding hanger of the attachment accessory includes a retaining arm having a proximal end attached to the front face of the attachment platform and a distal end spaced from the attachment platform.
Method and kit for installation of siding panels
A method and kit for installing siding panels to an exterior surface of a structure. The method and kit are directed to the positioning of a mending plate between the ends of horizontally adjacent siding panels. Lines of an adhesive are applied to the mending and the mending plate is disposed approximately midway between the ends of each of the adjacent first and second siding panels. Pressure is applied to the ends of the siding panels that are disposed over the respective portions of the mending plate thereby uniformly spreading the adhesive across the back surface of the siding panel and the mending plate to enhance the chemical bond of the adhesive once fully cured.
SIDING HAVING A STAPLE HEM
A siding panel having a staple hem with at least one slotted hole or other aperture configured to accommodate a free-floating staple. An added thickness portion extends from and overlaps a portion of the staple hem and is configured to limit the depth the staple may penetrate into the aperture. A tongue extends from and below the staple hem and is configured to accommodate a corresponding groove. At least one exterior panel or other configuration extends below and from the tongue. In an exemplary embodiment, a groove configured to mate with a corresponding tongue extends from the last exterior panel.
WALL PANEL MOUNT SYSTEM INCLUDING A FRAME SHAPED TO INHIBIT POOLING OF FLUID ON AN INNER SIDE THEREOF
There is provided a frame for coupling a wall panel to a wall or wall substrate. The frame has inner and outer sides, with the inner side of the frame being shaped to inhibit pooling of fluid thereon according to one aspect. The frame includes a series of longitudinally-extending channels with outer surfaces thereof shaped to angle fluid away and/or outwards therefrom according to another aspect. According to an additional aspect: surfaces of the frame along an inner side of the frame between an inner end and a central portion of the frame are shaped to promote movement of fluid towards the inner end of the frame; and surfaces of the frame along the inner side of the frame between an outer end of the frame and the central portion of the frame are shaped to promote movement of fluid towards the outer end thereof.
WALL PANEL MOUNT SYSTEM INCLUDING FRAME AND WALL PANEL THEREOF HAVING OFFSET WEEP HOLES EXTENDING THERETHROUGH
There is provided a wall panel assembly including a wall panel with one or more weep holes extending through a bottom side portion thereof. The wall panel assembly includes a frame coupled to the bottom side portion of the wall panel. The frame has one or more weep holes in fluid communication with the weep holes and inner side of the wall panel according to one aspect. The weep holes of the wall panel are offset from and/or longitudinally align with the weep holes of the frame according to another aspect. The frame includes a drainage gutter cavity or channel in fluid communication with the weep holes of the frame and wall panel according to another aspect. The channel includes a pair of side portions with longitudinally-extending ridges and grooves thereon and a closed end portion with the weep holes of the frame extending therethrough according to a further aspect.
WALL PANEL MOUNT SYSTEM INCLUDING A CLIP THEREOF AND THEREFOR
There is provided a wall panel mount system and clip therefor. The clip comprises a metal sheet that is folded over on itself according to one aspect. The system includes first and second frames connectable to first and second wall panels. Each frame includes an inner portion configured to be adjacent or near a wall. The clip is connectable to the wall, slidably couples to the first frame and encloses the inner portion of the second frame according to another aspect. There is further provided a method of coupling a pair of wall panels to the wall. The method includes: coupling a pair of frames to respective ones of the wall panels; folding a metal sheet at least in part; fastening the metal sheet so folded to the wall or wall substrate; and coupling the frames to the wall or wall substrate via the metal sheet so folded.
