The frame (1) is formed by combining a plurality of universal profiles (3) including a vertically-disposed universal profile and a horizontally-disposed universal profile.
Window Frame Protection System For Use In Areas Prone To Storms
A window frame protection system, for holding an exterior and an interior protective panel against a window, includes an extruded lineal having a first stacked screw boss, an exterior protective panel and a groove with covering cap. Anchoring screws driven through the exterior panel and into the stacked screw boss hold the panel to the lineal. A chamber for a second stacked screw boss, and a part of the extruded lineal, is to attach an interior panel to the window frame when additional window protection is needed and when the exterior of the window frame is not accessible. The second stacked screw boss may be inserted into the chamber during construction or, if the chamber is left open, may be added only when needed. A sash support on the interior of the window frame receives a sill riser for meeting higher design loads on the window sash.
PROCESS FOR THE REALIZATION OF DOOR AND WINDOW FRAMES MADE OF PLASTIC MATERIAL
The process for the realization of door and window frames made of plastic material comprises: a step of providing a profiled element (1) made of plastic material for the realization of door and window frames; a step of providing a reinforcing element (8) made of metal material, the profiled element (1) having a containment seat (6) of the reinforcing element (8); a step of inserting the reinforcing element (8) inside the containment seat (6); a step of fixing the reinforcing element (8) to the profiled element (1) by means of fixing means (9) between at least a portion of the profiled element (10) and at least a portion of the reinforcing element (11);
wherein the fixing step comprises a heating step of the portion of the reinforcing element (11) by means of electromagnetic induction means (12), the fixing means (9) being adapted to cooperate with at least one of the portion of the profiled element (10) and the heated portion of the reinforcing element (11) for the fixing of the portion of the reinforcing element (11) to the portion of the profiled element (10).
Door leaf with panel and panel kit for such a door leaf
Disclosed is a door leaf including a frame and a door panel with a front leaf, a back leaf and a filler plate. The frame includes conventional profiles with a lip oriented inwards to form a groove. The front leaf is affixed against the front of the frame, and at least partially covers the front of the frame. The door panel is fastened to the back of the frame by panel slats. The front leaf is provided with clamp that enable the front leaf to be pulled against the front of the frame, whereby these clamps are formed by one or more clamps along the periphery of the frame with a basic element that is fastened on the front leaf and a clamping slat affixed thereon that hooks behind an aforementioned lip and can be tightened on the basic element towards the front leaf.
Roof window frame comprising reinforcement profile with temperature management functionality
The present disclosure relates to a roof window (1), wherein the roof window comprises a frame (2) supporting a glass unit (3) comprising an first outer major surface (9a) for facing the interior of a building, and a second outer major surface (9b) for facing away from the interior of a building when the window is installed in an aperture of a building. The frame (2) comprises one or more frame profiles (2a-2d) that is/are hollow and comprises an interior frame profile space (7) enclosed by exterior frame profile walls (5a-5f). A frame reinforcement profile (8) is arranged in the interior frame profile space (7), and the thermal conductivity coefficient (k.sub.rp) of the material of the reinforcement profile (8) is higher than the thermal conductivity coefficient (k.sub.sw) of the material of the exterior frame walls (5a-5f). The reinforcement profile (8) comprises a wall part (8w) extending in a direction away from a first region located proximate a first plane (P1) comprising the first outer major surface (9a) of the glass unit (3), and moreover extends in the interior frame profile space (7) in a direction away from a second plane (P2), so that the interior space (7) is split into a first space part (7a) located at a first side of the reinforcement profile, and a second space part (7b) located at a second side of the reinforcement profile. The second plane (P2) is perpendicular to the first plane (P1), extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the frame profile, and touches a part of an exterior surface (6a1) of a first exterior wall (5a) of the frame profile that faces and is proximate the frame opening (4).
Middle strip of a door frame
The present utility model relates to a middle strip of a door frame, which can effectively solve the problem of insufficient strength existed in the middle strip of the door frame of the prior art. A middle strip of a door frame comprises a middle strip body, wherein a positioning hole is disposed in the middle strip main body along the length direction of the middle strip body, and the positioning hole is provided with a support frame in order to enhance the strength of the middle strip body, and the support frame is arranged along the inner wall of the positioning hole. The present utility model has the following advantages: a positioning hole is disposed in the middle strip body along the length direction, and the positioning hole is provided with a support frame, therefore, he strength of the whole middle strip body is effectively improved via the support frame without changing the size and the shape of the original middle strip body, so that the middle strip body will not deform easily during the using process and has a sufficient strength.
