Reciprocal motion fluid cylinder assembly
A fluid cylinder includes an outer cylinder surrounding expandable intermediate and inner cylinders. A first sealed volume is defined between the outer cylinder and the intermediate cylinder, a second sealed volume is defined between the intermediate cylinder and the inner cylinder and a third volume defined within the inner cylinder. The first sealed volume is held at a lower pressure than the second and third volumes. At upper heights of the intermediate and inner cylinders, the pressures of the second and third volumes are approximately equal. Exerting a downward force on a linkage connected to a top end of the inner cylinder results in changes in pressure-volume relationships, causing the intermediate cylinder to fall and, upon release of the downward force, causing the intermediate and inner cylinders to rise again to their upper heights. The reciprocal motion generated can be harnessed for various purposes.
SINGLE-TRANSPORT MOBILE ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION
An apparatus for providing mobile electric power includes a power generation transport. The power generation transport includes an air inlet filter housing, an inlet plenum coupled to the air inlet filter housing, an exhaust collector, an exhaust implement coupled to the exhaust collector, a gas turbine, a generator driven by the gas turbine, and an elevating system configured to elevate the exhaust implement to convert the power generation transport to an operational mode, and lower the exhaust implement back down to convert the power generation transport to a transportation mode. The elevating system performs the elevating and the lowering without utilizing any external mechanical apparatus. The air inlet filter housing, the inlet plenum, the exhaust collector, the exhaust implement, the gas turbine, the generator, and the elevating system are mounted on the power generation transport.

Air to electrical energy and water microgrid
A combined heat and power microgrid system is provided that stores energy in the form of compressed air that can then be utilized as needed in the form of electricity. The compressed air may be generated with energy from multiple electrical energy sources, such as renewable energy sources. The energy stored as compressed air/heat is used to charge a battery by utilizing a pulley system and a barrel housing that transfers kinetic energy generated by the release of the compressed air to an array of piezoelectric generators that can produce electricity, which is stored in the second battery. In addition, water may be extracted from the compressed air storage tank. In this way, energy produced by the renewable sources can be accessed during periods of high need or low production and water may be collected.

VOLUMETRIC EXPANDER, PROCESS OF STARTING THE VOLUMETRIC EXPANDER, CLOSED-CYCLE PLANT, AND PROCESS FOR CONVERTING THERMAL ENERGY INTO ELECTRIC ENERGY USING SAID PLANT
A volumetric expander (4) comprising a casing (50) having a general inlet and outlet (51, 52), a piston (6) operating inside the casing and adapted to define an expansion chamber (7) with variable volume, a main shaft (11) connected to the piston (6), and a valve (6) for selectively opening and closing an inlet and an outlet (8, 9) of the expansion chamber (7) allowing: a condition of introduction of the working fluid in the expansion chamber (7), a condition of expansion of the working fluid in the expansion chamber (7), and a condition of discharge of the working fluid from said expansion chamber (7). The expander comprises a transmission member (53) connectedon one sideto the valve (10) andon the other sideto the main shaft (11). The casing (50) defines a discharge chamber in direct communication with the general outlet (52) and configured for being put in direct fluid communication with the outlet (9) of the expansion chamber (7) during the condition of discharging the working fluid from the expansion chamber (7) itself. The transmission member (53) is disposed in the casing (50) inside the working fluid discharge chamber. The casing (50) comprises an auxiliary inlet (59) which is only directly in communication with the discharge chamber of the casing (50) and through this latter, with the general outlet (52); the auxiliary inlet (59) is configured for enabling the working fluid to directly enter the casing (50).

ENGINE GENERATOR
A switch can connect or disconnect a generator and a supply unit. A control unit controls an engine in one of a plurality of control states including a power generation state, a first standby state and a second standby state. When an acceptance unit accepts a switching instruction from the first standby state to the second standby state, the control unit controls the switch to disconnect the generator and the supply unit, and reduces the engine speed of the engine from an engine speed in the first standby state to an engine speed in the second standby state.
