SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR HIGH PRESSURE SINGLE SCREW COMPRESSOR
A seal assembly configured for use with a high pressure single screw compressor includes a seal body and at least one attachment structure. The at least one attachment structure fixedly attaches the seal body to the rotor of the compressor, such that the seal body is rotatable along with the rotor. The seal body has a textured outer surface which creates a labyrinthine path between the compressor housing and the seal body.
Gear pump device for rubber extrusion
In a gear pump device for rubber extrusion, prolongation of the maintenance intervals is intended by preventing rubber scorch occurring at the gear support-shaft portion. It has a bushing ring 5 inserted in a gear-housing bore 3 of a housing 4. The bushing ring 5 rotatably supports a support-shaft portion 7 of a gear 2 accommodated in the gear-housing bore 3. The bushing ring 5 has a bearing 15 and a sealing means 16 built-in. The sealing means 16 includes a seal ring 22 of which cross section is ]-shaped and which has a first lip portion 22i contacting with the outer peripheral surface of the support-shaft portion 7, a second lip portion 22o disposed outside thereof in the radial direction, and a side wall portion 22m connecting between outer ends in the axial direction, of the first and second lip portions 22i, 22o.
FLUID MACHINE
A seal member includes pushing projections that project from a seal body toward at a groove inner-side circumferential surface and are arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction of the seal body. The pushing projections push the seal body against the groove inner-side circumferential surface and a groove outer-side circumferential surface between the groove inner-side circumferential surface and the groove outer-side circumferential surface. This reduces the gap between the groove outer-side circumferential surface and the seal member in the seal accommodating groove. Thus, salt water is unlikely to collect in the gap between the groove outer-side circumferential surface of the seal accommodating groove and the seal member. This improves the corrosion resistance of the housing and the seal member.
Scroll compressor frame and orbiting scroll and sealing thereof
A scroll compressor is provided that may include a motor; an orbiting scroll; a fixed scroll coupled to the orbiting scroll, and forming a compression chamber together with the orbiting scroll; a frame coupled to the fixed scroll, and configured to support the orbiting scroll; a sealing member mounting groove having a ring shape, and formed on a first surface of the frame contacting the orbiting scroll, or a second surface of the orbiting scroll contacting the frame; and a sealing member including a first sealing portion formed in a ring shape, inserted into the sealing member mounting groove so as to be moveable in an axial direction, and configured to perform a sealing operation between the frame and the orbiting scroll in the axial direction and including a second sealing portion extending from the first sealing portion in the axial direction, and configured to perform a sealing operation between the frame and the orbiting scroll in a radial direction by contacting an outer side wall surface of the sealing member mounting groove A thickness of the second sealing portion in the radial direction may be smaller than a thickness of the first sealing portion in the axial direction.
Sealing structure for airtight container and vehicle refrigerant compressor provided with said structure
An object of the present invention is to achieve favorable sealability by a simple and low-cost structure using an O-ring. A sealing structure according to the present invention is provided with: a first sealing surface formed in an annular shape on a first container structural member configuring a housing (container); a second sealing surface overlaid on the first sealing surface, formed in annular shape on a second container structural member configuring the housing; a plurality of concentric O-ring grooves formed on at least one of the first sealing surface and second sealing surface; and a plurality of O-rings fitted into the plurality of O-ring grooves. The filling ratio of the O-ring in the O-ring groove positioned on an outer side of the housing is larger than the filling ratio of the O-ring in the O-ring groove positioned on an inner side of the housing.
Scroll fluid machine
In a scroll fluid machine, a thinned section (26) is provided in correspondence with a position at which the wrap height of a spiral wrap (15B, 16B) changes due to a step part. The thinned section (26) is provided on the front-side surface or the rear-side surface of a tooth tip section of at least one of the spiral wraps (15B, 16B) of at least one of partner scrolls (15, 16) respectively engaging with scrolls (15, 16). The thinned section (26) is provided in the direction in which the wrap thickness decreases so as to extend over at least a reduced-machining-accuracy area (27), which is an area where the machining becomes discontinuous due to at least a change in the wrap height. Thus, a contact failure between the spiral wraps (15B, 16B) is avoided in the area where the machining accuracy relatively decreases as a result of increasing the machining speed, thereby achieving both improved productivity and maintained performance.
MOTOR-OPERATED COMPRESSOR
A motor-operated compressor according to the present disclosure includes a first scroll performing an orbiting motion, a second scroll coupled to the first scroll to form a compression chamber with the first scroll and radially supporting a rotation shaft, a main housing coupled to the second scroll outside the second scroll, and coupled with a driving motor to form a motor chamber, the main housing including an opened end at one side of the motor chamber, a frame portion formed at another side of the motor chamber to axially support the second scroll, and a first bearing portion formed through the frame portion so that the rotation shaft is inserted therethrough to be radially supported, and an inverter housing coupled to the opened end of the main housing to seal the motor chamber, whereby a main frame can be easily formed and a compressor fabrication process can be simplified.
Vane pump seal
A seal tube assembly of a pump system is provided. The seal tube assembly includes a single seal tube having a first axial end sealably coupled to a first vane pump and a second axial end sealably coupled to a second vane pump. The single seal tube includes transverse contact surfaces at the first axial end and transverse contact surfaces at the second axial end. The single seal tube is formed to define a first seal tube cavity at the first axial end and a second seal tube cavity at the second axial end.
Compressor having floating seal assembly
A compressor includes a shell, a first scroll member, a second scroll member and a sealing assembly. The shell defines a first pressure region and a second pressure region. The first scroll member is disposed within the shell and includes a first end plate and a first scroll wrap. The second scroll member includes a second end plate and a second scroll wrap. The second scroll wrap meshingly engages the first scroll wrap to define a compression chamber therebetween. The seal assembly fluidly separates the first and second pressure regions from each other. The seal assembly includes a first plate, a second plate, a sealing member. The sealing member is sealingly engaged with the first plate and the second plate.
