At least one axial washer is arranged in the machine housing with axial play and has on a distal side a pressure field surrounded by a circumferential seal. The seal contacts and seals against a first bearing surface of the axial washer, and also contacts and seals against a second bearing surface of the machine housing. The seal is at least partially U-shaped in section and has a first seal limb contacting the first bearing surface, a second seal limb contacting the second bearing surface, and a connecting limb connecting the first and second seal limbs.

SIX-STROKE ROTARY-VANE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

The invention relates to the engines area, in particular to an internal combustion engine (ICE) which can be used on water, air and land transport vehicles. The six-stroke rotary-vane internal combustion engine comprising a stator with inlet and outlet ports, holes for spark plugs and the working chambers of air-fuel intake and compression, alternating with working chambers of expansion and removing of the combustion products; a cylindrical rotor rigidly fixed to a shaft and having longitudinal grooves in which vanes are placed, with combustion chambers made on the cylindrical surface of the rotor between the grooves; side walls; front and rear bearing shields the side walls of all working chambers of the engine and composite prismatic parts are placed in grooves made in the end surfaces of the rotor, the prismatic parts at their end surfaces are pressed by springs to the adjacent vanes and by their side edges are pressed against the side walls of the working chambers. The achieved effect consists in providing an engine with completely sealing of the working zone preventing as leaks of air-fluid mixture beyond the working zone as well as inter-chamber leaks.

SCROLL FLUID MACHINE

In this scroll fluid machine, a tip seal (7) that is in contact with facing end plates (5a) and that is for sealing in a fluid is provided to a tip seal groove (3d) formed on the tooth tip of a wall (3b). The tooth bottoms of the end plates (5a) have a shape in which a central section is deeper than a side section (5d3) in a width direction orthogonal to the spiral direction of a wall (5b). During operation, the protrusion amount () when the tip seal (7) protrudes from the tooth tip of the wall (3b) in an inclined section and is in contact with the facing end plates is greater than the protrusion amount () when the tip seal (7) protrudes from the tooth tip of the wall (3b) in a flat section and is in contact with the facing end plates.
