Sealing joint for a compressor casing
A sealing joint for a compressor casing, such as a compressor casing for a centrifugal compressor of a chiller, is provided. The sealing joint may be configured to have a first cover and a second cover. A first mating surface of the first cover may have an inner annular portion surrounding an inner cavity of the sealing joint, and an outer annular portion. The inner annular portion may be positioned between the inner cavity of the compressor casing and the outer annular portion. A sealant may be applied to the sealing joint, and a depth of the sealant on the inner annular portion may be deeper than a depth of the sealant on the outer annular portion. The depth of the sealant on the inner annular portion may help the sealing joint tolerate more elongation range without a sealant failure than a regular casing.

TRANSFER DEVICE
A transfer device that includes a case that houses a transfer mechanism; a strainer that suctions oil stored in a lower portion of the case; a valve body that has a hydraulic supply circuit that supplies a hydraulic pressure to the transfer mechanism and a suction oil path that discharges an extra hydraulic pressure that is extra for the hydraulic supply circuit; a first suction inlet that communicates with one of the suction oil path and the strainer and a second suction inlet that communicates with the other of the suction oil path and the strainer, and a balanced vane pump.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A PUMP, FLUID PUMP, AND DIALYSIS MACHINE
A method of manufacturing pumps of different performances for use in a blood treatment device, preferably a dialysis machine, having a pump housing or a pump housing portion for supportingly holding two gear wheels in meshing engagement. The method includes the step of primary shaping of a universal pump housing blank with all features common to the different pumps as well as with such oversizes as to allow machining for manufacturing all different pumps from the same primary-shaped pump housing blank. The method also includes the step of individualizing the universal pump housing blank by machining in the region of the oversizes to achieve the respective performance.
Vacuum pump
Durability of a vacuum pump is prevented from degrading by suppressing abrasion of a rotor and a side plate. The vacuum pump has a hollow cylinder chamber S having an opening at an end portion of a casing body, a rotor which is rotationally driven in the cylinder chamber S, a side plate for blocking the opening of the cylinder chamber S, and a pump cover which is disposed at the opposite side to the rotor so as to sandwich the side plate between the pump cover and the rotor, and the side plate is provided with an intercommunication port which confronts a shaft hole of the rotor and intercommunicates with a space between the side plate and the pump cover.
Compressor and method for producing compressor
A compressor includes compression and drive mechanisms disposed in a casing having a cylindrical member. The compression mechanism includes a cylinder main body, an end surface member attached to the cylinder main body, a muffler main body attached to the end surface member, an intake hole communicating with the compression chamber and extending in a direction crossing the drive shaft, and a circular hole located radially outside the compression chamber and extending in a direction parallel to the drive shaft. The circular hole opens to a space inside the casing. At least a part of the circular hole is located within an area defined by extending the intake hole in a plan view. A method of producing a compressor includes inserting a positioning pin into the circular hole of the compression mechanism and pressing an inlet tube into the intake hole from outside of the cylindrical member.
FREE ROTARY FLUID MACHINE
There is provided a free rotary fluid machine including: a main body which is provided in a hollow cylindrical shape, and has an elliptical inner circumferential surface; a rotor which is provided in the main body, and rotates about the same rotation center as the main body; tip seals which are provided at one side of the rotor so as to be in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the main body; and blades which are provided between the tip seals provided adjacent to each other, and supported by the tip seals, in which the blade has one end surface that faces the inner circumferential surface of the main body, and the other end surface that is opposite to one end surface, and centers of radii of curvature of one end surface and the other end surface are positioned at the same side. As described above, a space formed among the inner circumferential surface of the main body, the rotor, and the tip seal is sealed by the auxiliary tip seal, and as a result, it is possible to reduce friction between the tip seal and the main body and to prevent a leak of an introduced working fluid.

OPTIMAL EXPANDER OUTLET PORTING
An optimized mechanical expander or fluid expansion device with a delayed opening timing is disclosed. In the optimized design, rotors in the expander alternatingly rotate sequentially through an intake position in which the transport volume is open to the housing inlet, a closed position in which the transport volume is closed to the housing outlet, and a discharge position in which the transport volume is open to the housing outlet. During rotation, a first opening forms between the housing and each rotor. After further rotation, a second opening is formed that is located between the first opening and a back end of the rotor. In one aspect, the mechanical expander has an opening profile including an initial opening phase in which the opening between the rotor and outlet forms at a lesser rate than during a subsequent secondary opening phase.
