Cylinder head with integrated turbocharger
A cylinder head assembly for an internal combustion engine includes a cast cylinder head and a turbocharger housing integrally cast with the cylinder head and having an integrally cast wastegate housing. The turbocharger housing is configured to receive a turbocharger cartridge rotatably supporting a shaft coupled between a compressor wheel and a turbine wheel. The integrally cast wastegate housing defines a wastegate chamber configured to receive a wastegate valve, a flow of exhaust gas from the turbine wheel, and a flow of wastegate exhaust gas.
Turbine engine fan track liner with outer flange case mounting
A fan case assembly is adapted to extend around blades of a fan rotor included in a gas turbine engine. The fan case assembly includes an annular case that extends around an axis, a fan track liner coupled to the annular case and extending circumferentially at least partway about the axis, and a bolting arrangement that couples the fan track liner to the annular case.
Annular assembly for a turbomachine
The invention relates to an annular assembly for a dual-flow turbomachine having a longitudinal axis (A) and comprising a casing (12) with an annular shell (14), one face of which supports a piece of annular equipment, a plurality of means of attachment (18) for attaching the equipment to the annular shell (14) being distributed around the longitudinal axis (A) and allowing the equipment (16) a degree of freedom in the tangential direction relative to the annular shell (14), characterised in that each means of attachment (18) comprises a rail (20) integral with the annular equipment (16) and arranged radially between a first radially internal plate (22) and a second, radially external plate (24) and capable of sliding in the tangential direction between the first plate (22) and the second plate (24), and in that a removable support element (56) is securely connected to the annular shell and to the first plate (22) and second plate (24).

Method for installing a gas turbine assembly on a foundation, and gas turbine assembly
A method for installing a gas turbine assembly of a first type at a position of an existing power plant where previously a gas turbine assembly of a second type was installed on a foundation specially designed for said second type. The gas turbine assembly includes at least one housing, a compressor, a combustion chamber, a gas turbine, and a plurality of venting and removal lines guided along the exterior of the housing. Modifications to the venting and/or removal lines of the gas turbine assembly of the first type are carried out in a first step, and the modified gas turbine assembly is installed on the existing foundation in a second step.
METHODS AND MULTI-PURPOSE POWDER REMOVAL FEATURES FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
The present disclosure generally relates to methods for additive manufacturing (AM) for fabricating multi-walled structures. A multi-walled structure includes a first wall having a first surface and a second wall having a second surface facing the first surface to define a passage having a width between the first surface and the second surface in a first direction. The multi-walled structure also includes an enlarged powder removal feature connecting the first wall and the second wall. The enlarged powder removal feature has an inner dimension greater than the width in the first direction and at least one open end in a direction transverse to the first width.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE WITH AXIAL MOVABLE FAN VARIABLE AREA NOZZLE
A method of designing a turbofan engine according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, providing a fan section including a plurality of fan blades, providing a low pressure turbine driving the plurality of fan blades through a gear train, providing a fan nacelle and a core nacelle, the fan nacelle at least partially surrounding the core nacelle, providing a fan bypass flow path defined between the core nacelle and the fan nacelle, and providing a fan variable area nozzle in communication with the fan bypass flow path and defining a fan nozzle exit area between the fan nacelle and the core nacelle.
