SECTIONED ENGINE STRUCTURE FOR A GAS TURBINE ENGINE
An assembly is provided for a gas turbine engine. This gas turbine engine assembly includes a stationary engine structure. The stationary engine structure includes a diffuser, a combustor, an engine case and a plenum. The combustor is disposed within the plenum. The engine case forms a peripheral boundary of the plenum. A gas path extends sequentially through the diffuser, the plenum and the combustor. A first section of the stationary engine structure is formed as a first monolithic body. The first section includes the diffuser and the combustor. A second section of the stationary structure is formed as a second monolithic body. The second section is configured as or otherwise includes the engine case.
Radially flexible flange joint for exhaust manifold
A radially flexible connection joint for a gas turbine engine includes an exhaust manifold flange operatively coupling an exhaust cylinder to an exhaust manifold of the gas turbine engine. The exhaust cylinder includes a cylindrical flange that extends radially outwardly from a rotation axis of the gas turbine. The cylindrical flange defines a downstream axial face. The exhaust manifold is positioned downstream from the exhaust cylinder. The exhaust manifold includes an upstream edge. The exhaust cylinder and the exhaust manifold are substantially coaxial with the rotation axis of the gas turbine. The exhaust manifold flange has a bellows portion that extends radially between the cylindrical flange of the exhaust cylinder and the upstream edge of the exhaust manifold. The bellows portion permits relative radial motion of the exhaust cylinder and the exhaust manifold.

TURBINE
A turbine includes a rotor including a rotation shaft that rotates around an axis and a blade row formed on an outer surface of the rotation shaft; a casing, which covers the rotor, has a casing inner surface being expanded radially outward approaching a downstream side of the casing in a direction of the axis; and an inner member body formed to line the casing inner surface of the casing such that an extraction port is formed between an upstream side end of the inner member body and the casing inner surface. A discharge port is formed between a downstream side end of the inner peripheral member body and the casing inner peripheral surface. The extraction port and the discharge port are formed in an annular shape centered on the axis. A flow path cross-sectional area of the discharge port is smaller than that of the extraction port.

FASTENER COVER FOR FLANGED JOINT
A fastener cover for a flanged joint including first and second annular flanges extending about an axis, comprising: an annular, axially-extending, inboard wall; an annular, axially-extending outboard wall positioned radially outboard of the inboard wall; and a first radial wall interconnecting the inboard and outboard walls, wherein, collectively, the inboard and outboard walls and the first radial wall define a cavity for receiving a portion of a fastener; at least one fastener pocket including sidewalls extending axially away from the first radial wall and defining a tubular shape, which is closed off opposite the first radial wall by a floor plate having a clearance hole passing therethrough for accepting a shank of the fastener; and wherein the cover includes a balance weight receptacle for accepting at least one balance weight.
