HEAT EXCHANGER - ACCUMULATOR
The invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising a first free space (7) for a first fluid (3), a thermally conductive wall (11) which, at least locally, delimits said first free space (7), in such a way that an exchange of heat can occur between the first fluid and the thermally conductive wall (11) which is hollow and encloses a material (13) for storing thermal energy by accumulation of latent heat, by heat exchange with at least the first fluid. The first free space (7) is divided into at least two separated channels (7a, 7b) in which two streams of the first fluid (3) can circulate at the same time but separately, the thermally conductive wall (11) which encloses the thermal energy storage material (13) being interposed between the two channels (7a, 7b).
VEHICLE OIL WARMER AND HEAT EXCHANGE SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a vehicle oil warmer and a heat exchange system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a vehicle oil warmer and a heat exchange system, which enable a heat exchange between a coolant and oil to be automatically controlled according to the temperature of the coolant discharged from an engine, without a separate bypass valve for controlling the flow rate of the coolant, to thereby secure a heating performance of the vehicle interior while simultaneously heating the oil at the time of an initial start of the engine, and when the vehicle is running, lower the temperature of the oil by using an oil cooler in which low-temperature coolant flows, so that the temperature of the oil can be adjusted appropriately.

Exhaust gas heat recovery energy extraction strategy
An automobile vehicle exhaust gas heat recovery system includes an engine having a turbocharger. A cooling pump provides coolant flow to the engine and the turbocharger. A combined coolant discharge header receives coolant discharged from the engine and the turbocharger. A main rotary valve receives coolant discharged from the combined coolant discharge header. The main rotary valve includes multiple rotary valves selectively distributing all of the coolant in the combined coolant discharge header to at least one of an engine heater, a heater core and a transmission oil heater during a cold start operation. An exhaust gas heat recovery (EGHR) device is positioned to receive the coolant discharged from any one, any two or all of the engine heater, the heater core and the transmission oil heater and in a path to return the coolant to the cooling pump during the cold start operation of the engine.
Internal combustion engine with oil warming with directed spray in cylinder head
An internal combustion engine includes an engine block including a plurality of cylinders. A cylinder head is mounted to the engine block and includes intake and exhaust passages in communication with the plurality of cylinders. A cylinder head cover is mounted to the cylinder head and defines a cavity between the cylinder head and the cylinder head cover. An oil passage is disposed in the cavity and includes at least one oil jet for spraying oil at a surface of the cylinder head that is heated by the exhaust passages.

OIL SUMP
The invention relates to an oil sump (1) comprising a lower shell (2) intended for containing lubricating oil of an engine, in which a flow of oil, referred to as suction oil flow (I), is sucked up via a suction tube (44) to supply a lubricating circuit, and an oil flow, referred to as returning oil flow (II), falls into the oil sump (1). The oil sump (1) comprises an anti-emulsion plate (8) arranged located at the mouth of the suction tube (44) during a transitional period in which the temperature of the oil is lower than an optimal operating temperature.

METHOD OF PRE-HEATING A INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE BY OIL AND JACKET WATER COOLER
Provided is an internal combustion engine, comprising at least one cooling device for cooling at least one operational liquid of the internal combustion engine during and/or after operation of the internal combustion engine. The at least one cooling device has at least one heat exchanger and lines for transporting the at least one operational liquid to and from the at least one heat exchanger. The heat exchanger exchanges heat with a cooling medium, which cooling medium has during the operation of the internal combustion engine a lower temperature than the at least one operational liquid of the internal combustion engine. Heat is exchanged by the heat exchanger between the at least one operational liquid and the cooling medium, which cooling medium has before and/or during a starting operation of the internal combustion engine a higher temperature than the at least one operational liquid of the internal combustion engine.
Cooling system for internal combustion engine, and control method thereof
The present invention provides a cooling system for an internal combustion engine, comprising: a flow channel switching valve for switching between a plurality of cooling water channels at least including a heater line for air heating, a block line for cooling an engine block, and a transmission line for an oil warmer of a transmission so as to sequentially open at least one of the plurality of cooling water channels in accordance with a warm-up state of the internal combustion engine; and a control device for controlling opening and closing of the flow channel switching valve so as to restrict a cooling water distribution rate of the heater line.
