SYSTEMS FOR LUBRICANT DISTRIBUTION
Methods and systems are provided for a lubricant distribution assembly comprising a rotating component with a recessed circumferentially surrounded by a radially outer section, the radially inners side of which forms a surface of an undercut groove. The lubricant distribution assembly further includes a lubricant sump separated from the rotating component by a wall, a hollow tube that delivers lubricant from the lubricant sump to the lubricant distribution assembly and a lubricant deflector positioned within an upper portion of the lubricant distribution assembly and which lies in a plane that is parallel to a first axial side of the rotating component.
One-piece integrated chain snubber and oil diverter for a transaxle
A transaxle for a vehicle has a case adapted to retain a transaxle oil. A chain transfers torque between transaxle gears, and a snubber is disposed along the tension side of the chain. The snubber comprises a molded base plate with a pair of mounting inserts extending transverse to the base plate to mount the snubber to a case of the transaxle. A snubber plate is integrally molded with the base plate and extends substantially transversely from a longitudinal side of the base plate to frame an edge of the chain. A ramp plate is integrally molded with the base plate and extends substantially transversely from the base plate and obliquely with respect to the snubber plate. A scoop is integrally molded with the base plate and extends from the ramp plate configured to transversely deflect a flow of transaxle oil directed to the scoop by the ramp plate.
General-purpose engine
In a general-purpose engine including a cylinder block extending obliquely from one side of a crank case, and a cylinder head connected to an end surface of the cylinder block via a gasket, a unidirectional valve for allowing a flow of a fluid from a crank chamber to a valve operating chamber and blocking a reverse flow of the fluid is installed in an upper oil passage. In a case where lubricant oil reserved in the crank chamber flows into the valve operating chamber via a lower oil passage when the engine inclines such that the inclined cylinder block further slants, positive pressures transmitted from the crank chamber to the valve operating chamber push the oil, which once flows into the valve operating chamber, back to the crank chamber via the lower oil passage.

Engine
An engine includes a side wall, a head cover, and a cam cover. The cam cover is disposed obliquely relative to the side wall. The cam cover has a seal line that seals up a gap between the head cover and the cam cover. The engine further includes a cam cap fixed to an upper surface of the side wall to support a camshaft so as to be rotatable between the side wall and itself.

INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND OIL TREATMENT APPARATUS FOR USE WITH THE SAME
An internal combustion engine having an improved oil treatment system. The internal combustion engine may be a splash lubrication engine in which oil is flowed through an oil circulation circuit by a passive pump. In another aspect, a dipstick tube may be provided that includes a portion of the oil circulation circuit. In a further aspect, the internal combustion engine comprises one or more protuberances that automatically penetrate an oil treatment apparatus upon the oil treatment apparatus being mounted to the internal combustion engine, thereby fluidly coupling the oil treatment apparatus to the oil circulation circuit.

Rotary electric machine and oil ring for rotary electric machine
A rotary electric machine is provided that includes a housing that forms an internal cavity that houses a rotor/stator assembly, in which the rotor is positioned on a main shaft of the machine, a lubricating fluid reservoir defining a hub portion defining an inner surface, and at least one roller bearing coupled to the main shaft and supported by the hub portion and by a bushing. The machine includes an oil ring fastened to the bushing and arranged between the main shaft of the machine and the inner surface of the hub portion, wherein the oil ring includes a wall having a substantially circular cross section and at least one elongate and inclined projection on an outer surface of the wall, each elongate and inclined projection having a lower edge and an upper edge and in which the rotation of the oil ring generates a pressure difference between the lower edge and the upper edge to force the lubricant towards the at least one roller bearing.
