Aircraft engine assembly with a supply path to an inter-flow compartment tank of turbine engine
An aircraft engine assembly includes a dual-flow turbine engine, a pylon for mounting the turbine engine, thrust-absorbing rods connecting the turbine engine to the pylon, and an inter-flow compartment housing a lubricant tank. In order to facilitate the filling of the tank, a lubricant supply path is fluidly connected to the tank, this path passing through an inner hollow region of at least one of the two thrust-absorbing rods.
Agricultural machine
An agricultural machine, comprising is disclosed, wherein the machine comprises a body frame; a cutting system mounted on the body frame; a drive system mounted on the body frame; a power unit, mounted on the body frame, adapted to provide power to the drive system and/or the cutting system; and a fluid distribution system adapted to provide fluid to the power unit. The fluid distribution system further comprises a dock and a replaceable fluid container adapted to contain fluid to be supplied to the power unit the dock being adapted to retain the replaceable fluid container in fluid communication with the fluid distribution system so as to supply fluid from the replaceable fluid container via the fluid distribution system to the power unit. A method of facilitating an oil change in an agricultural machine is also disclosed.
Oil drain plug apparatus
Disclosed is an oil drain plug apparatus, wherein the oil drain plug apparatus is mounted on an automobile component containing a fluid including oil, and the oil drain plug apparatus includes a mounting portion provided on the automobile component and having a fastening hole penetrating the mounting portion; a plug portion configured to be inserted into the fastening hole and mounted on the mounting portion; and a sealing portion for sealing a gap between the mounting portion and the plug portion, wherein the sealing portion is mounted on the mounting portion while being coupled to the plug portion, wherein the plug portion includes a plug configured to be inserted into the automobile component through the fastening hole when coupled to the mounting portion; and a cap extending from the plug so as to be exposed to the outside of the automobile component through the fastening hole when coupled to the mounting portion, and the plug portion is rotated after being inserted into the fastening hole, and is fixed to the mounting portion, wherein one or more interference blades configured to protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the cap and bend toward the plug are formed on the cap to limit the rotation angle of the plug portion relative to the mounting portion. With this configuration, easy assembly may be realized, and maintainability and repairability may be improved.
Apparatus and method for blending oil on a marine vessel
An oil blending system for a marine diesel two-stroke engine and/or generator comprises a blender having at least one inlet for receiving a lubrication oil and at least one other component and at least one outlet for outputting a mixed lubrication oil composition to the engine or generator. A blender controller is configured to receive parameter data on the current lubrication oil status used in the engine or generator and receive parameter data on the current engine and/or generator status. The blender controller is also configured to automatically determine whether the currently used lubrication oil is within a predetermined parameter range based on the current engine and/or generator status. If the current lubrication oil is outside a predetermined parameter threshold, the blender controller is configured to determine a new lubrication oil composition for the engine or generator.
FLUID EXTRACTION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
A system for removing fluids, such as engine oil, from internal combustion powered vehicles is disclosed. The system includes a pump, an extraction line that connected between the pump and the oil pan drain (or other similar fluid receptacle drain) of the vehicle, a controller, a fluid storage container and a discharge line that is connected between the pump and the storage container. The fluid extracted is automatically transferred to a pressurized intermediate storage container and subsequently transferred to a non-pressurized final storage container.
Lube skid
A lube skid apparatus configured to be moveable and transportable. The lube skid having one or more tanks carried by a scaffold of the lube skid. One or both tanks having sloped bottom walls to optimize flow of fluids in the tanks to minimize residual fluid left in the tank. One or both tanks having sloped top walls configured to contain and direct the flow of fluid spills on the skid to an adjacent sump. The skid also carries a plurality of service devices such as a motor, an air compressor, a tank to hold compressed air, pumps to move fluid with associated filters and hoses, and one or more service storage drawers.

Oil sump housing for outboard motor
An oil sump housing for an outboard motor of a marine vessel is provided. The oil sump housing includes an upper mounting flange including multiple upper mounting holes, a lower mounting flange including multiple lower mounting holes, and an inner housing wall and an outer housing wall extending between the upper mounting flange and the lower mounting flange. The inner housing wall defines a transmission mounting cavity, and the inner housing wall and the outer housing wall define an oil containment cavity that at least partially surrounds the transmission mounting cavity.
Container, Method and Control System
A replaceable fluid container for an engine comprising: a reservoir for holding a fluid; a fluid coupling adapted to provide fluidic communication between the reservoir and a fluid circulation system of an engine; and a data provider arranged such that positioning the container to permit fluidic communication between the reservoir and the fluid circulation system of the engine arranges the data provider for data communication with an engine control device of the engine. There is also provided a method of facilitating control of an engine and an engine control system, apparatus and a vehicle.
