Oil separator

The objective is to improve the oil trapping rate of an oil separator. The oil separator separates gas and liquid in air containing oil, recovers liquid that contains oil. The oil separator is provided with an introduction port for introducing air, an oil trap for trapping oil contained in air, a reservoir for storing the liquid flowing out of the oil trap, and a discharge port for discharging air from which oil has been removed. The oil trap includes a glass fiber filter and an impingement member, which traps oil particles by causing the oil particles to strike the impingement member.

INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR ENGINE

An intake manifold 10 includes: a surge tank 11 that is connected on an upstream side thereof to a throttle valve 13; multiple branch pipes 12 that are arranged side by side in a longitudinal direction of the surge tank 11 and respectively connected to cylinders; and a PCV chamber 15 that is provided upstream of a central part in the longitudinal direction of the surge tank 11. The intake manifold includes: a blowby gas introduction port 16g that is designed to introduce blowby gas into the PCV chamber 15; and a blowby gas exhaust port 16f that is designed to discharge the blowby gas from the PCV chamber 15 into the surge tank 11, and the blowby gas exhaust port 16f is located at a position higher than the blowby gas introduction port 16g.

Separating module, line module, and ventilation device

A separating module for a ventilation device has a housing that surrounds a separating element designed to separate liquid particles from a gas flow. A line module and a ventilation device with such a separating module and such a line module are provided. The housing of the separating module is designed to be connected to the line module that has at least three geometrically parallel channels and the housing of the separating module has corresponding housing openings to be connected to the at least three channels. Several separating modules and several line modules can be combined to adapt the ventilation system as needed.

Disclosed is an arrangement of a filtering element for a device for purifying gas from the crankcase of an internal combustion engine, which includes: a filtering element mounted so as to rotate about an axis and having an annular filtering medium; a rotor element capable of being part of a rotating system, making it possible to turn the filtering element by way of notches formed on the outer surface of a sleeve. The flanges of the filtering element are attached to one another in an inner space defined by the medium, typically by snap-fitting, using at least one retaining member and an anchor portion engaging with one another with an anti-rotation effect. The anchoring portion is provided with inner projections forming contact surfaces, preferably angular, which are inserted into the notches of the sleeve when the rotor element is inserted into the inner space.
