Unit and switching film for regulation and control of a fluid pressure
A unit for the regulation for control of a fluid pressure, having at least one housing section and a switching film connected to the at least one housing section. A chemically inert, non-rubber-like PTFEswitching film switching film is disposed in the valve housing and switches at pressure differences of 1 mbar to 250 mbar for regulating, opening or blocking a flow of a fluid from the inlet to the outlet. The switching film is formed of a fluorine and carbon containing polymer material. The switching film has a plate-shaped flat body with a bending region and has a central closure region surrounded by the bending region. The bending region, when switching the switching film, moves the central closure region relative to a valve seat of the valve housing in an axial direction of the plate-shaped flat body toward or away from the valve seat by a stretch free or low-stretch bending movement.
Evaporated fuel treatment apparatus
An evaporated fuel treatment apparatus includes an abnormality determination unit that determines an abnormality of a purge passage. The abnormality determination unit changes an operating cycle of a purge control valve to a cycle longer than an initial set value while maintaining a duty ratio of the purge control valve set according to an operating state of an internal combustion engine, and determines an abnormality of the purge passage based on a first variation range and a second variation range calculated from a detection value detected by an airflow meter before and after the change of the operating cycle.
Blow-by gas leak diagnostic device
A blow-by gas leak diagnostic device includes a first PCV flow path, a second PCV flow path, a fresh air inlet, a pressure measurement unit, a first valve that opens and closes the first PCV flow path, a second valve that opens and closes the second PCV flow path, a third valve that opens and closes the fresh air inlet, a valve control unit, and a leak diagnosis unit. The valve control unit controls an opening degree of the third valve when a downstream side of an intake manifold with respect to a throttle valve has a negative pressure, and the second valve is in a closed state. The leak diagnosis unit diagnoses presence or absence of a leak in the first PCV flow path on the basis of an inner pressure of the first PCV flow path measured by the pressure measurement unit.
Engine Device
An engine includes: an exhaust manifold 7 close to one of left and right side surfaces of an engine; a turbocharger 60 having an exhaust-side inlet connected to the exhaust manifold 7; and a rocker-arm-chamber-integrated intake manifold 8 being disposed on an upper surface of a cylinder head 5 and integrally including a rocker arm chamber 90 and an intake manifold 6. The intake manifold 8 has a wall 101 dividing the rocker arm chamber 90 close to the one of the left and right side surfaces of the engine 1 and the intake manifold 6 close to the other of the left and right side surfaces to isolate the rocker arm chamber 90 and the intake manifold 6 from each other. The rocker arm chamber 90 has, in its upper portion, a positive crankcase ventilation device 69 protruding therefrom and being configured to return blowby gas to an intake system. The positive crankcase ventilation device 69 has, in its side surface, a blowby-gas discharge port 67 connected with a gas conduit 68 through which blowby gas is delivered to an intake-side inlet of the turbocharger 60.

Internal combustion engine with purge system
Apparatuses, systems and methods are disclosed including an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine can include an engine block defining a combustion cylinder and a crankcase, a piston moveable within the combustion cylinder; a cylinder head coupled to the engine block adjacent to and in fluid communication with the combustion cylinder, and a purge system. The purge system can be in fluid communication with the crankcase. The purge system can supply air to the crankcase and to the cylinder head. The purge system can comprise a valve cover coupled to the cylinder head, a breather coupled to the valve cover, and a fumes disposal line coupled with the breather. The fumes disposal line can transport fumes from the breather and away from the cylinder head.
LEAK DIAGNOSIS METHOD AND LEAK DIAGNOSIS DEVICE FOR BLOWBY GAS TREATMENT DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A blowby gas treatment device includes a pressure control valve, a fresh air induction pipe, a first blowby gas pipe, a second blowby gas pipe, a shutoff valve, a one-way valve, and a PCV valve. A leak diagnosis includes a first-stage diagnosis to determine whether or not falling of a pressure in a crank case after closing of the shutoff valve under a non-supercharging condition is normal. A second-stage diagnosis is implemented by using an air fuel ratio feedback control, and determining whether or not a sensed intake air quantity obtained by an air flow meter is equal to an actual intake air quantity flowing into a cylinder set. When the sensed intake air quantity is equal to the actual intake air quantity, presence of an in-system leak is determined, and when the actual intake air quantity is larger, presence of an out-of-system leak is determined.
LEAK DIAGNOSIS METHOD AND LEAK DIAGNOSIS DEVICE FOR BLOWBY GAS TREATMENT DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A blowby gas treatment device includes a pressure control valve, a fresh air induction pipe, a first blowby gas pipe, a second blowby gas pipe, a shutoff valve, a one-way valve, and a PCV valve. A leak diagnosis includes a first-stage diagnosis to determine whether or not falling of a pressure in a crank case after closing of the shutoff valve under a non-supercharging condition is normal. A second-stage diagnosis is implemented by using an air fuel ratio feedback control, and determining whether or not a sensed intake air quantity obtained by an air flow meter is equal to an actual intake air quantity flowing into a cylinder set. When the sensed intake air quantity is equal to the actual intake air quantity, presence of an in-system leak is determined, and when the actual intake air quantity is larger, presence of an out-of-system leak is determined.
Suction device for crankcase ventilation
The invention enables an adequate crankcase negative pressure in an internal combustion engine, in all operating ranges to the extent possible and using a suction device for the crankcase ventilation of an internal combustion engine, which suction device is equipped with a housing, a controllable electric motor and a compressor for conveying crankcase gas, which compressor is driven by the electric motor, the compressor having connection points for a crankcase ventilation line, such that the crankcase pressure of the internal combustion engine is controllable by controlling the electric motor.

The invention enables an adequate crankcase negative pressure in an internal combustion engine, in all operating ranges to the extent possible and using a suction device for the crankcase ventilation of an internal combustion engine, which suction device is equipped with a housing, a controllable electric motor and a compressor for conveying crankcase gas, which compressor is driven by the electric motor, the compressor having connection points for a crankcase ventilation line, such that the crankcase pressure of the internal combustion engine is controllable by controlling the electric motor.
