Agricultural work vehicle and system and method for monitoring state of agricultural work vehicle
An agricultural work vehicle according to an aspect of the invention that can monitor a state of the agricultural work vehicle when the agricultural work vehicle performs agricultural work using a working machine which is attached thereto includes: a vehicle body; a working machine that is attached to the front or rear of the vehicle body and performs agricultural work; an engine that generates a driving force for movement of the vehicle body and work of the working machine; and a monitoring device that determines at least one of whether there is an abnormality in a temperature of a coolant for cooling the engine, whether there is an abnormality in a pressure of an engine oil supplied to the engine, and whether there is an abnormality in the engine when the working machine performs work using the driving force.
Method for controlling the oil pressure of an oil pump in a combustion engine and an oil pressure arrangement
The invention relates to a method for controlling the oil pressure of an oil pump (40, 140) in a combustion engine (100). The combustion engine (100) comprises a crankcase (11) and a separator (14, 114) for separating oil present in a blow-by gas from the crankcase (11). The method comprises the step (201) of providing oil pressure demand for a set of different engine operation conditions, the oil pressure demand defining the theoretical required oil pressure of the oil pump (40, 140); the step (203) of controlling the oil pressure of the oil pump (40, 140) based on the oil pressure demand for at least one engine operation condition in the set of different engine operation conditions; the step (205) of driving the separator (14, 114) using oil from the oil pump (40, 140), the oil being pressurized based on the oil pressure demand.
Method and device for warning of insufficient engine oil for a vehicle
A method for warning of insufficient engine oil for a vehicle includes: determining, by a controller, whether conditions for determining that the vehicle has insufficient engine oil are satisfied, after an engine of the vehicle is started; determining, by the controller, whether an integrated value obtained by integrating a difference between a target operating value and an actual operating value of a hydraulic continuously variable valve timing (CVVT) device included in the engine within an operating time period of the hydraulic CVVT device is equal to or greater than a reference difference value, when the conditions for determining whether the vehicle has insufficient engine oil are satisfied; and determining, by the controller, that the vehicle has insufficient engine oil based on counting information on the number of times the integrated value, obtained by integrating the difference between the target operating value and the actual operating value, is equal to or greater than the reference difference value.
Method for operating an active oil separator and device for separating oil
A method for operating an active oil separator for separating oil from exhaust air of a crankcase of a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine. An engine operating state of the internal combustion engine is detected. A first SET rotational speed of the oil separator is determined as a function of the detected engine operating state and a first characteristic map. A maximum SET rotational speed of the oil separator is determined as a function of the first SET rotational speed by the determination device. A preferred SET rotational speed is determined on the basis of the maximum SET rotational speed by a determination device. An electric motor is controlled to drive the oil separator at the preferred SET rotational speed by a control device. A device is also provided for separating oil from exhaust air of a crankcase of a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine.
LUBRICANT DILUTION DETECTION SYSTEM
Lubricant dilution detection systems and methods are disclosed. A method for detecting lubricant dilution for a lubrication system includes detecting a shutdown event of the lubrication system. The method includes measuring lubricant pressure during the shutdown event. The method further includes determining lubricant dilution based on the measured lubricant pressure during the shutdown event. In accordance with a determination that there is lubricant dilution, the method includes outputting an indication of the lubricant dilution.

Method of controlling oil pump of vehicle
A method of controlling an oil pump of a vehicle includes: acquiring, by a controller, information on an engine operating state or a driving condition detected by a driving information detection part; determining, by the controller, whether a predetermined condition of an alternate mode is satisfied on the basis of the acquired information on the engine operating state or the driving condition; and, when the condition of the alternate mode is satisfied, sequentially performing, by the controller, a high-pressure operation control that controls an operation of an oil pump system so as to an oil pressure of an engine to converge on a predetermined target high-pressure value and a low-pressure operation control that controls the oil pressure of the engine to converge on a predetermined target low-pressure value.
Systems and methods for crankcase system diagnostics
Methods and systems are provided for assessing a state of a vent hose that fluidically couples a crankcase of an engine to an engine air intake system. In one example, a method may include sealing the crankcase from the vent hose, initiating cranking of the engine, monitoring a series of pressure pulsations during a monitoring window duration via a pressure sensor positioned between a crankcase oil separator and the vent hose, and indicating a presence of degradation associated with the vent hose based on the series of pressure pulsations and the monitoring window duration. In this way, diagnosis of a state of the vent hose may be reliably assessed without crankcase pressures confounding pressure measurements as recorded via the pressure sensor.
