MONOLITHIC MICROFABRICATED VIBRATING MESH ATOMIZER
In various embodiments, an apparatus can comprise one or more integrated mesh membranes operable to vibrate based on an integrated structure with a piezoelectric material. The integrated mesh membrane can be implemented in an atomizer, which can be constructed as a monolithic vibrating mesh atomizer. A portable vibrating mesh atomizer can be implemented in a number of applications including, but not limited to, a vaping device or portable liquid medicine delivery system. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.

MEDICAL FLUID-LINE ARRANGEMENT AND MEDICAL ELASTOMERIC PUMP HAVING SUCH A FLUID-LINE ARRANGEMENT
A medical fluid-line arrangement and a medical elastomeric pump having such a fluid-line arrangement. The fluid-line arrangement transfers a medical fluid between a medical elastomeric pump and a patient port. The fluid-line arrangement has a fluid-line channel with an inlet and an outlet. The inlet connects to an outlet of the elastomeric pump, and the outlet connects to the patient port. A throttle element is connected in a fluid-conducting manner to the inlet and outlet of the fluid-line channel. A portion of the fluid-line channel extends through the throttle element. The throttle element causes a narrowing of an active-flow cross section of the fluid-line channel. The throttle element is encapsulated at least partially in a thermally conductive body having a heat-absorption surface that is larger than an outer surface of the throttle element and that is intended to be applied flat to a skin surface of a patient.
ELECTRONIC ATOMIZATION DEVICE AND ATOMIZER THEREOF
An electronic atomizing device and an atomizer thereof are provided. The atomizer includes a liquid storage assembly and an atomizing assembly. The liquid storage assembly forms a liquid storage cavity therein and an accommodating cavity in communication with the liquid storage cavity, the accommodating cavity includes a first opening formed on a surface of the liquid storage assembly. The atomizing assembly is detachably embedded in the liquid storage assembly via the first opening and the atomizing assembly is accommodated in the accommodating cavity in an interference fit manner via at least one sealing member.
Thin Film Capillary Vaporization: Device and Methods
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for the generation of directed vapor from a liquid source. Vaporization takes place within a device capable of confining boiling to a geometrically small volume, and expelling it as heated vapor via capillary vaporization. The foregoing is accomplished through the use of a lightweight compact and portable personal vaporization device that generates heated vapor by the flash boiling of small volumes of aqueous liquid in a safe and energy-efficient manner. The flash boiling takes place at the interface between a disk heater and a non-fibrous wick that receives liquid at one surface and generates vapor that is collected and pressurized in grooves at an opposing surface. In an alternate configuration, a heat distributor may be used between the heater and wick. The apparatus and methods are directed toward personal humidification for comfort and therapeutic purposes in the case of aqueous liquids, but may also be used with other, non-aqueous liquids.
CANNABINOID AND MENTHOL TRANSDERMAL DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The present disclosure relates to compositions, methods of use and methods of manufacturing of transdermal delivery systems, patches, vehicles and devices including an iontophoretic transdermal delivery system, patch, vehicle or device used to relieve pain (i.e., analgesics) and/or inflammation that contain a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable and effective cannabinoid and menthol.
Systems and Methods to Administer Pharmaceuticals
Various aspects of this disclosure relate to containers, devices, and methods to administer single doses of pharmaceutical agents.
CAPSULES FOR USE IN PERSONAL VAPORIZERS
Capsules are provided for holding material within a vaporization chamber of a personal or portable vaporization device. Each capsule comprises a cap and a cup, each with a corresponding base wall having air inlet/outlet holes therein. The capsules are provided with first and second standoff structures that position the respective capsule to avoid occlusion of the air inlet/outlet holes by surfaces of the oven and/or lid that form the vaporization chamber. During use of the vaporization device, the capsule design encourages air to flow through the material held within the capsule via the air inlet/outlet holes, rather than flowing around the capsule to bypass the material held therein. In some embodiments, the capsules include tamper-resistant features that prevent separation of the cap and cup once assembled, thereby protecting the material held within the capsule.
