In a further embodiment, the catalytic turbine exhaust gas treatment device is replaced by a heat recovery steam generator.

Exhaust muffler, two-stroke engine or four-stroke engine having an exhaust muffler, and catalytic converter for an exhaust muffler

An exhaust muffler has an exhaust inlet, an exhaust outlet, as well as a catalytic converter which, in the flow direction, is disposed between the exhaust inlet and the exhaust outlet. The catalytic converter has at least one throughflow body which includes at least one wire body. At least one first component region of the throughflow body is coated with a catalytically functioning coating. The throughflow body moreover has a second component region which in terms of volume has a smaller quantity of catalytically functioning coating than the first component region.

NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEMS FOR AEROSOL COLLECTORS

Devices, systems and methods are described for reducing noise emitted from active aerosol and bioaerosol collection devices. The system includes a noise reducing muffler between the collection component and the air mover and a noise reducing baffle at the outlet of the air mover. The muffler reduces higher frequency noises emitted from the air mover inlet while the baffle reduces lower frequency noises emitted from the air mover outlet. Placement of the muffler between the collection component and the air mover eliminates the potential for loss of particles to the muffler prior to collection.

Externally mounted in-line exhaust gas valve

A valve assembly for an exhaust system of a vehicle. The valve assembly includes a housing, a valve shaft and a valve plate. The housing defines an inlet, an outlet, and a longitudinally exhaust gas passageway in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet. The valve shaft is rotatable. The valve plate is coupled to the valve shaft and is rotatable between a first position restricting exhaust gas flow through the exhaust gas passageway, and a second position whereat exhaust gas flow through the exhaust gas passageway is less restricted. The first housing includes spaced apart ears integral with and laterally extending from the first housing. The ears opposing each other. The shaft includes an axis of rotation being positioned at the ears and outside of the exhaust gas passageway.

The invention relates to a vibrating plate for ground compaction, comprising a drive motor, an exciter unit which is driven by the drive motor and by means of which a base plate can be set in vibration, an adjustably mounted hood, which can be adjusted between an operating position at least partially covering the drive motor and a maintenance position at least partially exposing the drive motor, an exhaust air guiding device leading from the drive motor to an exhaust air opening in the hood for the cooling air of the drive motor, the exhaust air guiding device being formed in two parts and comprising an exhaust air adapter on the drive motor side and an exhaust air guide on the hood side, the exhaust air adapter and the exhaust air guide together forming a continuous exhaust air path from the drive motor to the exhaust air opening in the hood when the hood is in the operating position, the exhaust air adapter being attached to the drive motor, and the exhaust air guide being attached to the hood such that it is adjustable with the hood between the operating position and the maintenance position.

Pulse exhaust pipe and diesel engine installed with pulse exhaust pipe

A pulse exhaust pipe for use with diesel engines an end of the pulse exhaust pipe is in communication with eight cylinders, and another end is in communication with two turbochargers; the pulse exhaust pipe includes three exhaust pipe sections which are separated from each other, each exhaust pipe section discharging to a turbocharger independently, wherein a first exhaust pipe section is in communication with a first and second cylinder, while a second exhaust pipe section is in communication with a third to a sixth cylinder, and a third exhaust pipe section is in communication with a seventh and eighth cylinder. The pulse exhaust pipe may prevent the backward flow of exhaust gas and inlet air back flow, thus increasing inflation efficiency and improving the uniformity of each cylinder. Also provided is a diesel engine installed with said pulse exhaust pipe.

Riding Lawn Mower

A riding lawn mower has an internal combustion engine and a muffler with a first housing. The internal combustion engine is connected to the muffler to supply exhaust gases originating from the internal combustion engine to the first housing of the muffler for noise damping of the exhaust gases. A second housing is provided that thermally insulates the first housing of the muffler. The second housing at least partially encloses the first housing of the muffler. The second housing has an exterior side with an emissivity of greater than 0.8.

Mobile power generation system

The present invention discloses a mobile power generation system. The whole power generation system is assigned onto two conveyances. A gas turbine, a generator, an intake chamber, an exhaust collector, and an auxiliary system are disposed on a first conveyance, an intake assembly and an exhaust duct are integrally disposed on a second conveyance. The second conveyance further includes at least four lifting gears, which are configured to separate the intake assembly and the exhaust duct from the second conveyance, and jack up the intake assembly and the exhaust duct so as to accommodate the power generation transport apparatus and move it to the bottom of the intake assembly and the exhaust duct. The intake assembly and the exhaust duct are then brought down by the lifting gears to dock with the intake chamber and the exhaust collector respectively. A seal docking can be achieved by the weights of the intake assembly and the exhaust duct themselves.
