Mounting seat, exhaust heat recovery system and exhaust system
The present disclosure relates to a mounting seat, an exhaust heat recovery system and an exhaust system. The mounting seat comprises: a lower support capable of being fixed to the base and comprising a lower fixing portion and a lower connecting portion; and an upper support provided with an upper fixing portion and an upper connecting portion, wherein the upper fixing portion and the lower fixing portion are closable through a connection between the upper connecting portion and the lower connecting portion, so as to define a fixing space, and the mounting seat fixes the actuator in the fixing space in such a way that the actuator is clamped from above and below.
Exhaust structure for saddle riding vehicle
An exhaust structure for a saddle riding vehicle includes: an exhaust pipe connected to an internal combustion engine; and a catalyst disposed in the exhaust pipe; the exhaust pipe including a catalyst case unit housing the catalyst and upstream side exhaust pipes disposed on an upstream side of the catalyst case unit; the catalyst case unit having a larger diameter than the upstream side exhaust pipes; the upstream side exhaust pipes being connected to the catalyst case unit in a connecting portion located on an upstream side of the catalyst in a flow of exhaust; in the connecting portion, axes of the upstream side exhaust pipes and an axis of the catalyst case unit being in substantially right-angled positional relation to each other.
Exhaust aftertreatment system universal joint flex pipe assembly
The present disclosure is directed to a flexible pipe assembly that includes a pipe, a sleeve, a first connection assembly, and a second connection assembly. The pipe of the flexible pipe assembly includes a first end portion that is coupled to an external vertical exhaust pipe that allows exhaust to escape from a truck and a second end portion that is coupled to a pipe to an outlet of an exhaust aftertreatment system (EAS). The pipe also includes a third portion, which is a bellows, coupling the first end portion to the second end portion of the pipe of the flexible pipe assembly. The first and second connection assemblies couple the sleeve to the pipe of the flexible pipe assembly by passing through holes in the sleeve and the pipe of the flexible pipe assembly.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The invention refers to an electrical connection (10) comprising a bushing (12) having a geometric central axis (14), an electrical conductor (16) passing through said bushing (12) along the geometric central axis (14), and an insulating layer (18) electrically insulating said bushing (18) from said conductor (16). It is suggested that the bushing 12, the insulating layer (18) and the electric conductor (16) are pressed together, preferably during a rotary forging process, in order to achieve a mechanical cold transformation.
Exhaust isolator bracket with alignment feature
An isolator for supporting an exhaust component from a portion of a vehicle via a hanger includes elastomeric isolator element having at least one aperture adapted to receive the hanger and an isolator or bracket for receiving and supporting the elastomeric isolator element. The isolator bracket includes a mounting structure including a first aperture and a second aperture. The isolator bracket is adapted to be fixed to the vehicle by a single fastener extending through the first aperture. The second aperture extends through the isolator bracket and includes an internal wall shaped as a polygon. A target orientation of the isolator bracket relative to the vehicle is obtained when the internal wall of the second aperture is angularly oriented and coaxially aligned with a corresponding aperture in the portion of the vehicle having an internal surface with the same polygon shape as the second aperture.
Device for treating exhaust gases
A device for treating exhaust gases which has an outer wall which has an opening in order to electrically contact one or more conductor tracks, which are arranged within an interior space that is surrounded by the outer wall, through the outer wall. The opening is arranged in a projection which protrudes outward from the interior space and is integrally formed with the outer wall.
Marine engine assembly
A watercraft and a marine engine assembly for pivotably mounting to a watercraft about a tilt-trim axis are disclosed. The marine engine assembly includes an engine unit including: an engine unit housing; an engine disposed in the housing; and an exhaust conduit disposed in the housing, an exhaust inlet defined by the exhaust conduit being fluidly connected to the engine, the exhaust conduit extending forward and upward from the exhaust inlet and then subsequently extending downward and rearward to an exhaust outlet. The marine engine assembly also has a driveshaft operatively connected to the engine and a propulsion device operatively connected to the driveshaft. A center of mass of the engine is disposed below the tilt-trim axis at least when the driveshaft is vertically oriented.
Device for ensuring the installation of a component at the designated installation location of said component
A device is described for ensuring the installation of a component at the designated installation location of said component in a system, made up of two parts, the first part of the device being attached to the component, and the second part of the device being attached to the system to which the component will be attached, and, during installation of the component into the system at the designated installation location of said component, the first part of the device and the second part of the device interlock precisely and enable assembly, in that the first part of the device and the second part of the device interact exclusively mechanically and exclusively enable the ensuring of the installation of the component at the designated installation location of the component in the system. When installing the component at a non-designated installation location on the system, the interaction of the first part of the device and the second part of the device, which form a poka-yoke system with each other, prevents installation.
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) module cover and sensor assembly
A cover for a DEF assembly with openings dimensioned to receive various components that are positioned in the DEF holding tank and associated seals for closing the openings and retaining the components is disclosed. The seals are fixed to the cover by a sonic weld.
Vehicle Exhaust Evacuation System
A vehicle exhaust evacuation system includes an adapter secured to an end of a vehicle tailpipe and a nozzle assembly secured to the end of a flexible hose for carrying vehicle exhaust outside of a building. The nozzle assembly has an aluminum cartridge removably secured in a rubber boot. Magnet assemblies are secured to the aluminum cartridge. Openings in the adapter allow ambient air to flow over the magnet assemblies to lengthen the life of the magnets.
