EXHAUST PURIFICATION SYSTEM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust purification system of the internal combustion engine, is provided with: an exhaust purification catalyst having a catalytic function; a particulate filter arranged at a downstream side from the exhaust purification catalyst; an oxygen feed device feeding gas containing oxygen into exhaust gas flowing into the particulate filter; a detection device detecting a concentration of ammonia in exhaust gas flowing out from the particulate filter; and a control device. The control device controls the oxygen feed device so as to feed oxygen from the oxygen feed device to the particulate filter if a temperature of the exhaust purification catalyst is equal to or greater than an activation temperature and an air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas is a rich air-fuel ratio, and estimates the amount of deposition of particulate matter on the particulate filter based on the output of the detection device when feeding oxygen.
Exhaust gas aftertreatment device and exhaust gas aftertreatment method
An exhaust-gas aftertreatment device (10) for an internal combustion engine, particularly for a marine diesel internal combustion engine operated using heavy fuel oil, includes a housing (11); an exhaust-gas chamber (12) defined by the housing (11), for permitting exhaust gas to flow continuously through the housing (11), an inlet (13) for permitting exhaust gas to flow into the housing and an outlet (14) for permitting exhaust gas to flow out of the housing (11); a sound damping chamber (15), defined by the housing (11) and coupled with the exhaust-gas chamber (12). The sound dampening chamber (15) is constructed to receive a fluid or a pourable solid at a fill level depending on the frequency of an exhaust sound to be damped.
CONTROL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN EXHAUST GAS AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM
A control device and a method for controlling an exhaust gas aftertreatment system comprising a diesel particulate filter is provided. The method comprises a step of, in response to a determination that a temperature of an exhaust gas entering the diesel particulate filter is equal to or below 325? C., controlling a NOx concentration of the exhaust gas entering the diesel particulate filter to be equal to or less than 600 ppm. An exhaust gas aftertreatment system as well as a vehicle comprising the control device are also described.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO ENABLE PACKAGE SPACE REDUCTION IN A VEHICLE EXHAUST SYSTEM
A vehicle exhaust system includes a hot end having one or more hot end exhaust components that treat emissions generated by an engine and a cold end that includes at least one cold end component that attenuates noise. At least one acoustic volume is in parallel or serial to the hot end to further attenuate noise.
QUIET GEN
A silencing accessory or specially designed muffler to be attached to the exhaust of a portable generator, which is specially designed to reduce or eradicate excessive noise, as well as filter emissions. The present invention comprises a replaceable filter to provide a product that solves the problems of noise and air pollution created by these necessary units
Vehicle Comprising a Dual-Branch Exhaust System
A vehicle has an internal combustion engine and an exhaust system. The exhaust system has a first exhaust tract with a first exhaust outlet extending into the atmosphere as well as a second exhaust tract with a second exhaust outlet extending into the atmosphere. The second exhaust outlet is located in front of the first exhaust outlet in the direction of travel of the vehicle.
Control device and method for controlling an exhaust gas aftertreatment system
A control device and a method for controlling an exhaust gas aftertreatment system comprising a diesel particulate filter is provided. The method comprises a step of, in response to a determination that a temperature of an exhaust gas entering the diesel particulate filter is equal to or below 325 C., controlling a NOx concentration of the exhaust gas entering the diesel particulate filter to be equal to or less than 600 ppm. An exhaust gas aftertreatment system as well as a vehicle comprising the control device are also described.
Muffler integrated type gasoline particulate filter
A muffler integrated type gasoline particulate filter includes a filter having first and second surfaces and first channels and second channels alternately arranged, each of the first channels being closed at the second surface and each of the second channels being closed at the first surface, the filter collecting exhaust gas particulates when exhaust gas passes through a wall surface disposed between the first and second channels. The muffler integrated type gasoline particulate filter further includes protruding walls formed on an inner wall surface of each of the first and second channels in a longitudinal direction thereof. The protruding walls reduce noise of the exhaust gas flowing along each of the first and second channels.
INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE
An object is to provide an industrial vehicle whereby it is possible to arrange an exhaust purifying apparatus in an efficient layout, and to achieve a high purifying performance. An industrial vehicle includes: a cargo loading device disposed on a front part of a vehicle; a counter weight disposed on a rear part of the vehicle; an engine housed in an engine room formed in front of the counter weight inside the vehicle; and an exhaust purifying device disposed inside the engine room and configured to purify exhaust gas of the engine.
