STYLET FOR A PERCUTANEOUS CATHETER
20220401696 · 2022-12-22 ·

A catheter system insertable into a living body to convey blood has a catheter tube and a stylet. The catheter tube has an expansion portion, a shaft portion, and a lumen. The stylet includes an outer peripheral member that extends in an axial direction and has an outer diameter the same as an inner diameter of the shaft portion, an inner peripheral member provided with an exposed portion exposed from a distal end of the outer peripheral member and provided on an inner periphery of the outer peripheral member so as to be slidable with respect to the outer peripheral member, and a fitting stopper into which a fitting member on an outer periphery of a proximal end of the outer peripheral member is fittable. A region is formed in the fitting stopper in which the outer peripheral member and the fitting member are movable.

METHOD FOR STRAIGHTENING BENT CATHETERS FOR USE
20220401692 · 2022-12-22 ·

The invention involves a system and method for straightening and refurbishing medical catheters. The system includes the steps and equipment to repair bends and kinks which prevent proper usage of the catheter for a medical procedure. The system and method further checks electrical conductivity and resistance if needed. The catheters are then cleaned and repackaged for shipment and use.

Micro-negative pressure foam dressing and manufacturing method thereof
11529262 · 2022-12-20 · ·

A micro-negative pressure foam dressing and a manufacturing method thereof is disclosed, the dressing comprises a exothermic agent layer, an isolation component covering on the exothermic agent layer, an elastic memory piece disposed under the exothermic agent layer, a liquid absorbing negative pressure pad disposed under the elastic memory piece, a contact layer disposed under the liquid absorbing negative pressure pad, a sealing film disposed between the liquid absorbing negative pressure pad and the contact layer, and a bottom release film disposed under the contact layer; and in this invention, heat generated by a exothermic agent layer causes an elastic memory piece to expand downward to compress a foam layer, and after the heat dissipates completely, a micro-negative pressure is generated since a sealed environment is formed by a sealing film, a contact layer and a wound surface without a need for the VSD negative pressure technology.

Medical suction tool for a Eustachian tube
11523942 · 2022-12-13 · ·

A method includes inserting into a patient body a medical suction tool, which includes a hollow first tube for removing material away from a Eustachian tube of a patient, and a hollow second tube disposed around the first tube. The medical suction tool is navigated to the Eustachian tube. The Eustachian tube is sealed by coupling an outer surface of the second tube to an inner surface of the Eustachian tube. While the Eustachian tube is sealed by the second tube, the material is removed away from the Eustachian tube via the first tube.

Apparatus, system and method for fluid delivery

A filling aid device for filling a reservoir. The device includes a cover portion comprising a septum window; a slider beam comprising a septum cover; and a first filling aid tab attached to the slider beam, the first filling aid tab in slidable relation to the cover from a first position to a second position, wherein when the filling aid device is in an unlocked position, the septum cover is located below the septum window, wherein when the first filling aid tab is moved from the first position to the second position, the septum cover is moved from below the septum window, and the filling aid device is in the locked position.

Method and apparatus for rectal anaesthesia

A system and method for delivering a medicament including a catheter configured for implantation in different target tissue sites, extending from a proximal end to a distal end, and having a sidewall which defines an internal lumen. The distal end has one or more apertures in the sidewall for the release of the medicament into the target tissue site; the system also comprises a medicament reservoir fluidly communicable with the internal lumen of each catheter, an adhesive member configured to adhere to the skin of the patient around the exit wound and having an opening therein to allow the catheters to pass through the adhesive member and a retaining member configured to be overlaid on the adhesive member and comprising a guide surface configured to receive a length of the two or more catheters and a plurality of retaining portions to retain the catheters against the guide surface.
