A muffler for a vehicle includes a first expansion chamber in which an exhaust gas flowing in from an inlet pipe is expanded, and a bracket that is placed on an inner surface of the first expansion chamber to oppose a blow-off port of the inlet pipe and that has a mountain shape protruding toward a side of the inlet pipe. The bracket includes a top surface which opposes the blow-off port of the inlet pipe, and inclined surfaces which incline from the top surface toward corners of the first expansion chamber.

Heat shield assembly for a vehicle exhaust system and exhaust system component of a motor vehicle

An exhaust system component of a motor vehicle includes a gas-carrying housing, a heat shield seated on an outside of the housing, and at least one wire mesh provided at least partly between the heat shield and the housing. The wire mesh includes a first attachment point and a second attachment point. The heat shield is attached to the housing via the wire mesh, and the wire mesh is attached to both the heat shield, via the first attachment point, and to the housing via the second attachment point. The first attachment point is separate from the second attachment point.

A decoupling element for reducing structure-borne noise, particularly for use in a heat shield system, having a sleeve element with an insertion opening for the insertion of a fastener for fastening to a partner fastener, wherein the insertion opening extends in an axial direction of the sleeve element and the sleeve element has collars protruding in a radial direction, which are spaced apart from each other in the axial direction, wherein between the collars, a damping element is positioned, which extends radially outward beyond the collars and is provided to be fastened to a heat-shielding part by means of a fastening element, and the damping element is embodied as a metal wire structure, wherein the damping element is positioned so that it is elastically prestressed in the axial direction in a gap between the collars of the sleeve element.

DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID INJECTION SHIELD AND DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID INJECTION SYSTEM

A shield for a diesel exhaust fluid injector is mounted horizontally in an opening in a side wall of an exhaust gas aftertreatment system of an internal combustion engine. The diesel exhaust fluid injector configured to inject diesel exhaust fluid in a direction generally normal to the side wall into a mixer positioned in an exhaust gas stream. The shield may include a first portion extending axially and a second portion extending radially inwardly from the first portion.

Work vehicle

Disclosed is a work vehicle having a load carrier deck provided at a rear portion of a vehicle body to be vertically pivotable between an elevated discharging posture and a lowered load carrying posture. An engine section is provided under the load carrier deck. The engine section includes an engine, an exhaust muffler for the engine, and a muffler heat insulating cover for covering an outer circumference of the exhaust muffler. The muffler heat insulating cover is supported by a vehicle body frame via an anti-vibration member.

Connector

A connector including: a first buffer member that includes a spiral-shaped wire in a plan view; a second buffer member that has a substantially annular and flat plate-like shape, and that is capable of warping in a thickness direction; a collar member that includes a cylindrical portion surrounded by the first buffer member and the second buffer member, a first flange facing a radially inner side of the first buffer member, and a second flange facing a radially inner side of the second buffer member; and a coupling member that includes a first holder section holding radially outer sides of the first buffer member and the second buffer member, a second holder section holding the shielding body, and a coupling member base portion.
