TECHNIQUES, SYSTEMS AND MACHINE READABLE PROGRAMS FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE
The present disclosure provides various methods and systems for performing magnetic resonance studies. In accordance with many embodiments, image or other information of interest is derived from super radiant pulses.
SYSTEM FOR REDUCING LOCAL DISCOMFORT
A device for targeted delivery of a substance to an airway may include a conduit and at least two applicators. The conduit may include a proximal end and a bifurcated distal portion having two distal ends. Each applicator may be coupled with one of the distal ends of the conduit and may be configured to direct the substance out of the applicator toward one of two sides of an airway. A method for targeted delivery of a substance to an airway may involve advancing a substance delivery device into the airway, contacting two sides of the airway with at least two applicators of the substance delivery device, such that each applicator contacts the airway near a glossopharyngeal nerve and/or a superior laryngeal nerve on each of the two sides of the airway, and delivering the substance through the applicators to contact the airway along the two sides.
Linear digital proportional piezoelectric valve
An electrically controlled valve (10) includes a shaft (36), a piezoelectric motor (34) affixed to an end of the shaft (36), a controller (54), a follower (42), a valve member (40), and a valve seat (28). The piezoelectric motor (34) drives the shaft with a first direction and a second opposite direction. The controller (54) provides power to the piezoelectric motor (34) to move the shaft with a first speed and a second speed, the first speed being faster that the second speed. The follower (42) receives the shaft (36), and slides relative to the shaft in response to the shaft moving with the first speed, and grips and moves with the shaft in response to the moving with the second speed and includes a valve member (40). The valve member (40) moves with the follower (42). The valve member (40) is configured to be moved by the follower (42) against the valve seat (28) to restrict fluid flow and to be moved by the follower (42) away from the valve seat to increase the fluid flow.
Electro-magnetic induction device and method of activating a target tissue
An electro-magnetic induction device for activating a target tissue in a body via its muscular or neural system includes an electro-magnetic field generator with a coil design configured to generate an electro-magnetic field, a mounting arrangement holding the coil design at the body, a sensor member configured to detect an activation of a target tissue, an electro-magnetic field adjustment mechanism configured to automatically adjust the position and a field strength of the electro-magnetic field, and a calibration unit in communication with the sensor member and the electro-magnetic field adjustment mechanism. The calibration unit is configured to control the electro-magnetic field adjustment mechanism to automatically vary the position and the field strength of the electro-magnetic field, to receive an activation feedback signal from the sensor, and to control the electro-magnetic field adjustment mechanism to automatically stop variation of the position of the electro-magnetic field generated by the coil design.
Devices and methods for removing cancer cells from bloodstream during cancer metastasis
Devices for monitoring cancerous cells in blood of a patient that are preloaded with a marker and a magnetic agent and removing them are provided. The device comprises a tray onto which blood withdrawn from the patient flows before returned to the patient; a magnet placed at a distance from the tray so that the blood on the tray is within a magnetic field of the magnet and the cancerous cells that are preloaded with the magnetic agent are forced to move from the blood on the tray towards the magnet. A detector configured to detect the marker in the cancerous cells in the blood on the tray is provided as well and a filter that is placed between the tray and the magnet so as to capture the cancerous cells that are forced to move towards the magnet and remove them from the blood of the patient.
BIOFEEDBACK USING BIO-RESONANT FREQUENCIES AND EMOTIONAL RESONANCE
Methods providing biofeedback generally comprising: correlating an emotional state with an emotional resonance signal of a person; determining a bio-resonant frequency and wave form from a segment of the emotional resonance signal; and producing a feedback signal that is a higher harmonic of the emotional resonance signal. Said feedback signal can help adjust emotional states, balance brainwave activity, forge new neuro-circuits, increase interhemispheric communication, creativity and brain-efficiency thereby improving a full spectrum of nervous system activity from hyperarousal to deep sleep.
