VEHICLE LOWER STRUCTURE

There provided a vehicle lower structure including: an exhaust pipe which is disposed below a floor panel of a vehicle and in which an exhaust gas from an engine flows; an undercover that covers the exhaust pipe from below; and an inflow port that allows running air to flow into between the exhaust pipe and the undercover.

Mobile Selective Catalyst Reduction System

The present application provides a mobile selective catalyst reduction system for use at a remote location. The mobile selective catalyst reduction system may include a first trailer with an ammonia delivery system and a tempering air system mounted thereon in whole or in part and a second trailer with a selective catalyst reduction section mounted thereon in whole or in part. The ammonia delivery system, the tempering air system, and/or the selective catalyst reduction section are permanently mounted on the first trailer or the second trailer for use at the remote location

Outboard motors and exhaust systems for outboard motors having an exhaust conduit supported inside the V-shape

An internal combustion engine for an outboard motor comprises a cylinder block having first and second banks of cylinders that extend transversely with respect to each other in a V-shape so as to define a valley there between. An exhaust manifold conveys exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine and is at least partially disposed in the valley. A supporting mechanism supports the exhaust conduit with respect to the internal combustion engine. The supporting mechanism is configured to allow the exhaust conduit to move with respect to the internal combustion engine in 360 degrees in a plane defined by the lateral and transverse axes, and laterally towards and away from the internal combustion engine, thereby facilitating assembly of the exhaust manifold and the internal combustion engine despite positional tolerance differences there between.

STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE

A straddle-type vehicle comprises a radiator through which air flowing from a front flows in a forward and rearward direction of a vehicle body; an engine which generates driving power for allowing the straddle-type vehicle to travel, the engine being disposed rearward of the radiator; and a cover unit covering from above a space formed between the radiator and the engine, and the engine, wherein the cover unit includes: a hard cover which is located at a front side of the cover unit, extends rearward from the radiator, and covers the space formed between the radiator and the engine; and a soft cover which is located at a rear side of the cover unit, extends rearward from the hard cover, and covers the engine.

Saddle-riding vehicle

A fuel tank is disposed under a flat footboard. A vehicle body cover is disposed laterally of the fuel tank. An opening introduces travelling wind to a space between the fuel tank and the vehicle body cover. A first exhaust pipe is located upstream of a catalyst and is connected to an exhaust port. A catalyst housing portion accommodates the catalyst, is connected to the first exhaust pipe, and extends backwardly from the first exhaust pipe. A second exhaust pipe is located downstream of the catalyst, is connected to the catalyst housing portion, extends backwardly from the catalyst housing portion, and is connected to a silencer. The first exhaust pipe at least partially overlaps with the fuel tank in a vehicle front view. The catalyst housing portion is at least partially disposed rearward of the space between the fuel tank and the vehicle body cover.

DIESEL ENGINE

This diesel engine includes a turbocharger which compresses intake air by utilizing a flow of exhaust gas, and an exhaust gas after-treatment device which purifies the exhaust gas, wherein an exhaust pipe connects the exhaust gas after treatment device and the turbocharger, and is connected upwardly to the exhaust gas after-treatment device. The exhaust pipe can have a curbed portion, and have one end and another end, and both ends can face towards a front direction of the diesel engine. The exhaust pipe can be extended to a rear side in the engine front-rear direction, then bent by 180 degrees, and after being extended to a front side in the engine front-rear direction below the turbocharger, can be bent upward and is connected to the exhaust gas after-treatment device. The turbocharger can have an intake ejection pipe which ejects the gas and faces towards the front direction.

Motor vehicle having a rear apron

An exhaust system has at least one exhaust tailpipe which is led through a rear apron of the motor vehicle. The drive train of the vehicle has a rear axle. An air duct is provided in a rear region, which air duct supplies exterior air to the at least one exhaust tailpipe at least in sections. The rear axle has at least one rear axle cover at least in sections. An air inlet opening of the air duct is arranged behind the rear axle cover in a travel direction of the motor vehicle. As a result of the design of the motor vehicle, the rear apron is protected from impingement by hot exhaust gases.

Tractor

A tractor includes: a vehicle body; an engine disposed in an engine compartment; a radiator that is disposed, in the engine compartment, further toward a vehicle-body front side than the engine and cools the engine; an exhaust-gas cleaning device that purifies exhaust gas exhausted from the engine using a reducing agent; a reducing-agent tank that stores the reducing agent supplied to the exhaust-gas cleaning device; and a battery, the reducing-agent tank being disposed, in the engine compartment, side-by-side with the battery and further toward the vehicle-body front side than the radiator.
