The present invention provides a supplemental nutrition apparatus. The supplemental nutrition apparatus may comprise a reservoir coupled to and in fluid communication with a fluid passageway, wherein the fluid passageway is configured to communicate fluid from the reservoir to a fluid passageway outlet, and a support element configured to engage a user, to at least partially support the fluid passageway, and to position the fluid passageway outlet proximate to the user's nipple.

An intubation infection control tent system is described. In an example implementation, an infection control tent includes a cover that forms a space in which a patient can be positioned, the cover creating an infectious barrier between the patient and an external environment, one or more support channels integrated into the cover that provide a rigid structure to the cover, and a drape skirt that connects to an edge of the cover and drapes over a portion of the patient.

The wearable device comprises a central body adapted to be positioned in a mouth of a user, one or more tentacles connected at a periphery of the central body; and one or more inserts adapted to be inserted over the one or more tentacles to improve adherence and comfort. Further, the central body has a top layer, a bottom layer comprising a plurality of holes and a fluid housing enclosed between the top layer and the bottom layer. The fluid housing contains a fluid. The fluid may be one of nutraceutical and/or pharmaceutical fluids, re-hydration liquids or gels, nutritional liquids and oxygen. Further, the one or more inserts and the one or more tentacles are configured to be clamped to an upper jaw of the mouth of the user and secure the central body therein.

Devices and methods for delivering air to a patient are provided. A device includes a first portion having a first airflow inlet and a sensor configured to sense airflow, the first portion defining a first airflow path, and a second portion comprising a second airflow inlet, an impeller, and an outlet for communicating airflow to a patient, the second portion defining a second airflow path. The device includes means for coupling the first portion and the second portion, such that the sensor sensing airflow in the first portion causes corresponding movement of the impeller, wherein the impeller is configured to impel air through the second airflow inlet and out of the outlet to the patient, upon movement of the impeller.

A droplet delivery device with a small volume drug ampoule and related methods for delivering precise and repeatable dosages to a subject for pulmonary use is disclosed. The droplet delivery device is configured to facilitate the ejection of small, e.g., single use, volumes of a therapeutic agent. The droplet delivery device includes a housing, a mouthpiece, a small volume drug ampoule, an ejector mechanism, and at least one differential pressure sensor. The delivery device is automatically breath actuated by the user when the differential pressure sensor senses a predetermined pressure change within housing. The droplet delivery device is then actuated to generate a plume of droplets having an average ejected particle diameter within the respirable size range, e.g, less than about 5-6 μm, so as to target the pulmonary system of the user. The small volume drug ampoule may include a reservoir which comprises an internal flexible membrane separating two internal volumes, a first background pressure fluid volume and a second drug volume.

An aural water removal suction apparatus for removing water from within ears includes a mouthpiece that has a principal opening extending into a mouth portion and a stem aperture extending from the principal opening through a stem portion. A tubing is coupled to the mouthpiece. A pair of ear tubes comprising a right ear tube and a left ear tube is coupled to the tubing. A pair of ear buds that is configured to be inserted into a user's ears is coupled to the pair of ear tubes. The canal aperture of each of the pair of ear buds, the pair of ear tubes, the tubing, and the stem aperture of the mouthpiece are all in fluid communication. The user creates suction through the canal aperture of the pair of ear buds with her mouth on the principal opening of the mouthpiece to draw water from her ears.

An aspiration device is described, including a bulb aspirator including a bulb body, a first collar and tip, the bulb body includes an upper portion configured for receiving one end of the first collar and lower portion configured for receiving in a first configuration a stop and in a second different configuration a second collar associated with a suction tube, the tip is configured for insertion into a passageway; the stop being configured for detachable connection to the lower portion of the bulb body when in the first configuration; and the suction tube including the second collar, a tube portion and an adaptor, the second collar is disposed at a first end of the suction tube and being adapted to be coupled to the lower portion of the bulb body, the adaptor is configured to adapt to a human mouth to enable suction to be applied at the adaptor.

The hiccup relieving apparatus includes a tube with a first end having a mouthpiece, a second end for immersion in water or other potable liquid in a container, and an obstruction in the tube between the first end and the second end. The obstruction requires an adult user, using the mouthpiece, to produce a threshold suction of at least 20 cm of water before water can flow from the water in the water container, through the tube, through the mouthpiece, and to the user.
