Exhaust gas after-treatment device and internal combustion engine

An exhaust gas after-treatment device includes: a catalytic converter system, which includes a delivery side and a discharge side; and a container including an interior space and at least two openings, the at least two openings including a first opening and a second opening, the catalytic converter system being arranged in the interior space of the container, the first opening being connected with the catalytic converter system on the delivery side, and the second opening being connected to the catalytic converter system on the discharge side.

Quick connect testing jig

Systems and methods are provided for temporarily coupling an emission sampling device to a vehicle. The system may include an adaptor having a body and a conduit secured to a body. The conduit may define a coupling portion for connection to a source of emissions. An extension arm may be provided movably coupled to the body, including a gripping end configured to align with and grippingly engage a structure of the vehicle. A drive mechanism may be provided for displacing the extension arm with respect to the body. The gripping end of the extension arm may cooperate with the structure of the vehicle and the drive mechanism to exert a compressive force between the coupling portion of the conduit and the source of emissions.

A novel emissions control watercraft (STAXcraft) solving a long-felt but unsolved need regarding disadvantages associated with prior-art emissions servicing watercraft, the disadvantages selected from the group, but not limited to, the use of tugboats, securing or mooring servicing watercraft to a serviced vessel, additional expenses and time-delays and inefficiencies of land-based approaches, increased toxic emissions, increased greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions, danger from falling cargo, tanker safety, alongside mooring in narrow channels preventing other OGV's to pass safely, and cargo tank emissions.

Mobile Selective Catalyst Reduction System

The present application provides a mobile selective catalyst reduction system for use at a remote location. The mobile selective catalyst reduction system may include a first trailer with an ammonia delivery system and a tempering air system mounted thereon in whole or in part and a second trailer with a selective catalyst reduction section mounted thereon in whole or in part. The ammonia delivery system, the tempering air system, and/or the selective catalyst reduction section are permanently mounted on the first trailer or the second trailer for use at the remote location

MAINTENANCE TOOL AND MAINTENANCE METHOD FOR EXHAUST PURIFICATION DEVICE

A maintenance pipe (30) used during maintenance of an exhaust purification device equipped with: a set of an oxidation catalyst (22) and a filter (23) for purifying exhaust gas from an engine (10); an upstream connecting pipe (16A) and a downstream connecting pipe (16B) which are mounted in a demountable way and guide the exhaust gas from the engine (10) to the oxidation catalyst (22); and an exhaust pipe injection device (24) and injectors (12) for increasing a concentration of unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas. The maintenance pipe includes a flanged steel pipe (31) mounted to be replaceable with the downstream connecting pipe (16B), and a maintenance catalyst (32) that is housed in the flanged steel pipe (31), generates heat caused by oxidizing the unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas from the engine (10), and heats the exhaust to discharge the exhaust to an exhaust downstream side.

Device for internal gripping of an exhaust pipe

Device (1) adapted for internal gripping of an exhaust pipe, comprising: a hand piece (20); a gripping device (100) comprising a pull element (120) and a plurality of substantially rigid segments (111-119) connected in series and moveable relative to each other, wherein one of said segments (111) is connected to the hand piece, and another of said segments (119) is connected to the pull element (120); wherein the plurality of segments is moveable between a substantially straight configuration, in which the segments are substantially aligned along an first axis (A), and a curved configuration, in which the segments are substantially aligned along a curve, wherein the pull element comprises a flexible portion (125) extending though the segments; wherein the hand piece (20) is provided with a manoeuvring device (40) adapted for pulling on the pull element (120) to cause the segments of the gripping device to move relative to each other to the curved configuration in which they form a curved shape for gripping an inner surface of the exhaust pipe and with the flexible portion of the pull element extending in non-linear fashion through the curved shape.
