EMISSIONS MODULE WITH ADJUSTABLE SIZING

An emission module for treating exhaust gas including a housing, a first catalyst substrate positioned within the housing and having an inlet end, the first catalyst substrate defining a plurality of flow passages extending longitudinally from the inlet end, and a first restrictor plate positioned at the inlet end of the first catalyst substrate to block exhaust flow through a first portion of the plurality of flow passages while allowing exhaust flow through the remainder of the plurality of flow passages.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REMANUFACTURING SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION SYSTEMS

An aftertreatment system comprises an aftertreatment component. An outlet sensor is positioned downstream of the aftertreatment component. A controller is communicatively coupled to the outlet sensor. The controller is configured to interpret an outlet signal from the outlet sensor. The outlet signal is indicative of a performance of the aftertreatment component. The controller determines if the aftertreatment component has deactivated. In response to determining that the aftertreatment component has deactivated, the controller provides a catalyst active material to at least a portion of the aftertreatment component. The catalyst active material coats at least the portion of the aftertreatment component so as to remanufacture the aftertreatment component.

IMPROVED AFTER TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

An after treatment system (ATS) for a vehicle having an ATS module includes, fluidly connected in series, an inlet, a Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), a urea mixer and a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), and an outlet. The inlet is fluidly connected to an output of an engine of the vehicle and the outlet is fluidly connected to an outlet tube of the vehicle. The inlet, DOC, mixer, SCR and outlet are arranged to define a substantial rectangular path of a flow (F) of exhaust gases flowing in the ATS, with the inlet and the outlet being positioned at a same vertex of the substantial rectangular path of the flow (F).

INTEGRAL FLOW STRUCTURE WITHIN A CONTAINMENT COVER

A filtration assembly includes a housing. The housing includes a first housing for fluid and a second housing opening for fluid. A containment cover is removably coupled to the housing. The containment cover defines a cover opening, a cover surface, and a flow passage. The cover opening is in fluid communication with the housing. The cover surface is substantially continuous around a circumference of the containment cover. The cover surface includes an open portion in fluid communication with the second housing opening. The flow passage is formed by a first passage surface and a second passage surface. The flow passage includes a first end in fluid communication with the cover opening. A second end is in fluid communication with the second housing opening through the open portion of the cover surface. The flow passage extends radially outward from the cover opening.

AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM FOR MIXING A REDUCTANT IN AN EXHAUST GAS FLOWING THERETHROUGH

An SCR system includes at least one catalyst, and an intake conduit. The intake conduit includes an intake conduit first sidewall, at least a portion of which defines a first curvature. An intake conduit second sidewall is coupled to the intake conduit first sidewall so as to define the intake conduit. A catalyst is fluidly coupled to the intake conduit through the intake conduit second sidewall. The intake conduit second sidewall is inclined at a first angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the SCR system, such that an intake conduit second end cross-section of the intake conduit is smaller than an intake conduit first end cross-section. An intake conduit third sidewall is positioned at the intake conduit second end. The intake conduit is structured to produce an even flow split of the exhaust gas through the intake conduit internal volume towards the catalyst.

The invention relates to an air cleaner for a vehicle which can be installed on the rear of the vehicle, which includes a suction pipe provided with a slit having a length corresponding to a width of the vehicle, an air pump connected to inside of the suction pipe by a guide pipe, and a filter means connected to the air pump. The air cleaner is operated in a way of sucking exhaust gas and fine dust generated from an exhaust line of the vehicle together with fine dust and dust particles generated around tires of the vehicle during driving of the vehicle, removing them, and then discharging purified air to the atmosphere. The air cleaner can effectively remove the fine dust and various-shaped dust particles directly and indirectly generated from the vehicle, and remarkably reduce generation of fine dust by considerably suppressing diffusion of fine dust into atmosphere.
