VIBRATION DAMPING ISOLATOR FOR A VEHICLE
An isolator for suspending a vehicle component from a chassis is provided. The isolator has an elastomeric body defining first and second apertures therethrough. The isolator has a first support bracket extending through a first outer region of the body. A second support bracket extends through a second outer region of the body. The isolator has first and second flexible couplings, with each coupling connecting the first support to the second support. A method of forming the isolator is also provided.
SCR DOSER
A SCR doser includes an electrical adapter extending from an inner end electrically connected to the pins of a solenoid to an outer end having electrical terminals. The outer end outwardly protrudes from an aperture provided in a base wall of the housing of the SCR doser.
HEAT COVER DEVICE OF CATALYTIC CONVERTER FOR VEHICLE
A heat cover device of a catalytic converter for a vehicle may include a shell of the catalytic converter, and a heat cover including a left cover and a right cover that are secured to an external surface of the shell, wherein each of the left cover and the right cover includes a support cover portion which is open outwards and then exert an elastic restoring force inwards after being open outwards, and a close-contact cover portion which is circular-arc shaped to be in contact with the external surface of the shell and integrally extends to both end portions of the support cover portion to be tightly fitted and secured to the external surface of the shell due to the elastic restoring force.
Suction tube for a urea sensor
A suction tube for a urea sensor installed in a urea tank comprises a suction pipe and a cover. The suction pipe has a suction opening and a hole extending through a wall of the suction pipe. The cover is disposed on an outside of the suction pipe and covers the hole. When there is an under-pressure in the suction pipe compared to the urea tank, the cover abuts the suction pipe and seals the hole. When there is an overpressure in the suction pipe compared to the urea tank, the cover deforms and allows an excess urea solution to escape through the hole and flow back into the urea tank.
SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR EXHAUST SYSTEM PART
A support structure for an exhaust system part that configures an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine for a vehicle includes a bracket and a support member. The bracket includes a first plate and a second plate. The first plate has both end portions attached to the second plate, and the second plate has both end portions attached to the exhaust system part. A first space is defined between the first plate and the second plate, and a second space is defined between the second plate and the exhaust system part. Each of the first space and the second space has a first open end disposed on the vehicle front side, and has a second open end disposed on the vehicle rear side. The first plate, the first space, the second plate, and the second space are disposed between the support member and the exhaust system part.
Electric immersion heater for diesel exhaust fluid reservoir
An immersion heater including an encapsulated, semi-conductive, heating element. The heating element may be a non-metallic, carbon-based material in the form of a monofilament, a yarn or bundle of semi-conductive fibers which may be twisted, braided fibers or yarns, or the like. The encapsulation may be in the form of a tube of one or more layers of encapsulation material(s) with the heating element inserted therein. Alternately, the heating element may be thermoplastic with semi-conductive carbon additive, and the heating element may be coated with one or more external layers of insulating encapsulation material(s). The encapsulation material may be a rubber or thermoplastic material with sufficient chemical resistance to be immersed in a reservoir of fluid subject to freezing or thickening at low temperatures, such as DEF. The heater may be thermoformed into a predetermined fixed shape.
Isolator in a vehicle exhaust system and an exhaust system including the same
An isolator in an exhaust system of a vehicle is provided. The isolator comprises a bracket to be connected with an under body of the vehicle; and a gas filled cushion at least partially embedded in the bracket. The cushion is formed to have a through hole in a middle portion and the through hole is configured to receive a hanger connected to an exhaust system.
Insulator
Provided is an insulator which is capable of reducing an abnormal noise. A first mounting hole engaging a vehicle body side is formed in a first portion, and a second mounting hole engaging an exhaust pipe side is formed in a second portion disposed to be spaced apart from the first portion. The first section and the second portion are coupled to each other by the coupling portion. The first portion and the second portion are adapted such that at least the inner peripheral surfaces of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole are configured from a rubber-like elastic body having a self-lubrication property.
EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BODY
An exhaust pipe support body including: an attachment member configured to be attached to one of a vehicle body and an exhaust pipe; a center attachment part configured to be attached to another of the vehicle body and the exhaust pipe, the center attachment part having a vertical lengthwise dimension that is larger than a lateral widthwise dimension thereof and being arranged in an installation hole provided to the attachment member; and a plurality of connection arms elastically connecting the center attachment part to the attachment member, the connection arms being integrally formed with the center attachment part and remote from each other in a vertical lengthwise direction between opposed faces of each of left and right sides of the center attachment part and corresponding one of left and right side walls of the installation hole.
Vehicle engine exhaust system
A vehicle engine exhaust system includes an exhaust component and a non-conductive support member. The exhaust component is supported by a vehicle body via the non-conductive support member. The vehicle body and the exhaust component are positively charged. The vehicle engine exhaust system further includes a self discharge type static electricity eliminator that reduces, in a state where the self discharge type static electricity eliminator is installed on a non-conductive wall surface, an amount of electrification charge on the non-conductive wall surface within a limited area around a location where the self discharge type static electricity eliminator is installed. The self discharge type static electricity eliminator is installed on the non-conductive support member such that static electricity elimination is performed for the exhaust component.
