METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING AT LEAST ONE SCR CATALYTIC CONVERTER OF A VEHICLE
A method for controlling a SCR catalytic converter of a vehicle, comprising a first step of modelling said at least one SCR catalytic converter as a plurality of NH3 storage cells (cell1, cell2, . . . , celln; cell1, cell2 . . . celln, cell1, cell2, . . . , celln), a second step of controlling only a first (cell1) of said plurality of storage cells, according to feedback control based on a reference value, and a third step of adapting said reference value on the basis of a storage level of at least another storage cell of said plurality of storage cells, wherein said first storage cell is arranged at an inlet of said SCR catalytic converter according an exhaust gas circulation.
After-Treatment System
An after-treatment system includes, in series along an exhaust gas flow direction through the after-treatment system: a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) delivery device, a soot-reducing device and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst.
INJECTOR MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
An injector mounting assembly for supporting an injector is described. The injector mounting assembly includes an upstream wall and a downstream wall coupled to the upstream wall. The injector mounting assembly further includes a thermoelectric cooler coupled to at least one of the upstream wall and the downstream wall. The thermoelectric cooler is disposed in thermal contact with the injector and configured to exchange heat with the injector.
Exhaust gas purification device
In an exhaust gas purification apparatus provided in an exhaust as path of an engine, it is an object of the present invention to shorten a pipe length of a bypass path bypassing a purification catalyst as short as possible, thereby reducing initial costs. The exhaust gas purification apparatus includes a purification casing in which at least the purification catalyst is accommodated. The purification catalyst purifies exhaust gas from the engine. The purification casing is integrally provided with the bypass path separately from the purification path in which the purification catalyst exists. The bypass path makes the exhaust gas bypasses the purification catalyst without passing through the purification catalyst.
EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION APPARATUS OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An additive amount of a reducing agent to a selective reduction-type NOx catalyst is optimized. An ammonia adsorption amount of the selective reduction-type NOx catalyst is estimated based on one or a plurality of prescribed parameters related to the ammonia adsorption amount and a specific ammonia adsorption amount that is an estimated value of the ammonia adsorption amount specified by at least one of a maximum value and a minimum value of an estimated value of the ammonia adsorption amount is estimated based on an error in the prescribed parameter, and when the specific ammonia adsorption amount is outside a target range of the ammonia adsorption amount, addition of an ammonia precursor or ammonia using an adding valve is controlled such that the specific ammonia adsorption amount returns to the target range.
Zeolite synthesis with a fluoride source
Provided are a novel synthesis technique for producing pure phase aluminosilicate zeolite and a catalyst comprising the phase pure zeolite in combination with a metal, and methods of using the same. The pure phase aluminosilicate zeolite can be selected from those having an ITW framework and a silica to alumina ratio of less than about 140 or, an STW framework and a silica to alumina ratio less than about 100.
After-Treatment System
An after-treatment system includes, in series along an exhaust gas flow direction through the after-treatment system: a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) or a passive NOx adsorber (PNA), a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) delivery device, a soot-reducing device and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst, which may also include an additional PNA.
AMMONIA OXIDATION CATALYST FOR DIESEL APPLICATIONS
The present invention relates to an ammonia oxidation catalyst for the treatment of an exhaust gas stream, the catalyst comprising a coating disposed on a substrate, wherein the coating comprises a selective catalytic reduction component being a zeolitic material comprising one or more of copper and iron; and an oxidation catalytic component comprising platinum supported on a porous non-zeolitic oxidic support, wherein the oxidation catalytic component further comprises a first oxidic material supported on the porous non-zeolitic oxidic support supporting platinum, wherein the first oxidic material comprises titania.
MULTI-FUNCATIONAL CATALYSTS FOR THE OXIDATION OF NO, THE OXIDATION OF NH3 AND THE SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION OF NOX
The present invention relates to a catalyst for the oxidation of NO, for the oxidation of ammonia and for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx, the catalyst comprising a flow-through substrate, a first coating comprising one or more of a vanadium oxide and a zeolitic material comprising one or more of copper and iron, a second coating comprising a platinum group metal component supported on a non-zeolitic oxidic material and further comprising one or more of a vanadium oxide and a zeolitic material comprising one or more of copper and iron and a third coating comprising a platinum group metal component supported on an oxidic material. The present invention further relates to an exhaust gas treatment system comprising said catalyst.
FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR ECO-FRIENDLY SHIP
The present invention provides a fuel supply system, for an eco-friendly ship, which selectively uses an existing fuel and an ammonia fuel or uses a mixture thereof as a fuel for a propulsion engine and a power generation engine of a ship so as to follow ship greenhouse gas regulations to be reinforced in phases at major points until 2050.
