Exhaust gas treatment system
An exhaust gas treatment system capable of purifying exhaust gas containing moisture includes superheated steam generating pipes (20, 40) and a housing (10). The superheated steam generating pipe (20, 40) is formed of a material capable of generating heat by energization, and has a flow path (200, 400) through which exhaust gas can flow, and moisture contained in the exhaust gas flowing through the flow path is converted into superheated steam by the heat. The housing (10) is provided to accommodate the superheated steam generating pipe, is formed to allow the exhaust gas before being introduced into the flow path to flow therethrough and can preheat the exhaust gas by the heat of the superheated steam generating pipe.
METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR REMOVING A GAS FROM A FLOW OF A GAS MIXTURE
A method and installation for removing a gas from a flow of a gas mixture. A first liquid (82) is introduced in the flow (106) for evoporative cooling and saturation of the gas mixture. Small droplets of a second liquid (84) are provided which are capable of adsorbing and dissolving said gas and of a size small enough not to be sedimented by gravitation and big enough to be centrifugally separated. The small droplets are sprayed into the flow for adsorbing and dissolving said gas into the droplets, and the small droplets are centrifugally separated from the flow.
Marine drives having exhaust manifold with longitudinally offset inlet ports
A marine engine includes a cylinder block having first and second banks of cylinders disposed along a longitudinal axis and extending transversely relative to each other in a V-shape so as to define a valley there between, and first and second exhaust logs in which exhaust gas from the first and second banks of cylinders are collected and conveyed. An exhaust manifold is located in the V-shape and configured to merge said exhaust gases from the first and second exhaust logs and to convey said exhaust gases. The exhaust manifold has a first inlet port that receives substantially all said exhaust gas from the first exhaust log and a second exhaust inlet port that receives substantially all said exhaust gas from the second exhaust log. The first and second inlet ports are longitudinally offset relative to each other.
Turbocharger assembly
The present invention relates to an improved turbocharger assembly, particularly of the variable geometry type. The improved turbocharge assembly contains a turbine. The turbine includes an impeller housed in a casing, a flange that can be sealingly associated with a corresponding flange of an exhaust gas manifold of an engine, and a clapet valve that contains a shutter element and a housing seat. The housing seat is fashioned in a frame made in one piece with the casing.
Auxiliary low-speed marine steering associated with inverted snorkel for underwater engine exhaust
An improvement for inboard motor boats has a rigid exhaust conduit, a miniature rudder, and a rudder control system. The rigid conduit is provided for conduction of combustion gases exhaust outside the hull and has an aft facing outlet. The miniature rudder is pivotably mounted on the rigid conduit relative the aft facing outlet whereby combustion gases exhaust past the rudder. The rudder control system has a user interface inside the boat and has a control mechanism pivoting the rudder in response to inputs to the user interface.
DIESEL ENGINE HIGH PRESSURE SCR VENTILATION AND PRESSURE STABILISATION SYSTEM
A diesel engine high pressure SCR ventilation and voltage stabilisation system, comprising an SCR reactor (10), an air intake pipeline (20) and an exhaust pipeline (30) respectively connected to an air inlet and an exhaust outlet of the SCR reactor, a pressure difference sensing apparatus (40), and a control apparatus, a first control valve (21) being arranged on the air intake pipeline (20) and a second control valve (31) being arranged on the exhaust pipeline (30), and the control apparatus being connected to the pressure difference sensing apparatus (40), the first control valve (21), and the second control valve (31). The control apparatus controls the first and second control valves such that the pressure difference between the SCR reactor and the exhaust side of the diesel engine remains in a predetermined pressure difference range. The present system implements rapid ventilation and ensures precise control and stabilisation of pressure difference.
Fuel supply system for eco-friendly ship
The present invention provides a fuel supply system, for an eco-friendly ship, which selectively uses an existing fuel and an ammonia fuel or uses a mixture thereof as a fuel for a propulsion engine and a power generation engine of a ship so as to follow ship greenhouse gas regulations to be reinforced in phases at major points until 2050.
Multiple duct system for conveying exhaust gas from oceangoing vessels to a treatment system
A multi-circuit system for temporarily connecting to a plurality of exhaust pipes of an oceangoing vessel at berth or at anchor and treating captured exhaust gas. Each circuit includes an exhaust gas processing system, a duct system to reach from the processing system to an exhaust pipe; a duct inlet port for attachment to a connector receiving exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe. A positioning system supports the duct systems and connectors in a ganged relationship and positions the duct systems and connectors in a temporary operational position and in a non-operational position. In another embodiment, blower controller is responsive to a pressure measurement at the duct inlet port or the connector to control a blower speed to set or maintain the pressure to a desired pressure.
Exhaust pipe apparatus and ship comprising same
The present disclosure relates to an exhaust pipe apparatus. The exhaust pipe apparatus includes a first exhaust pipe provided to directly discharge exhaust gas discharged from a combustion engine to the outside, a second exhaust pipe connected in parallel with the first exhaust pipe and having a branch pipe connected to one side thereof such that the exhaust gas is directly discharged to the outside or discharged through the branch pipe, and a first damper installed in the second exhaust pipe to control a flow of the exhaust gas to be directly discharged to the outside or discharged through the branch pipe.
COMBUSTION SYSTEM
Provided is a combustion system using a catalyst having better denitration efficiency at low temperatures, during a selective catalytic reduction reaction in which ammonia is used as a reducing agent.
This combustion system comprises: a combustion device that combusts fuel; an exhaust path through which flows exhaust gas generated from the combustion of fuel in the combustion device; a dust collection device that is arranged on the exhaust path and collects ash dust/dust in the exhaust gas; and a denitration device that is arranged on the exhaust path and removes nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gas by means of a denitration catalyst, wherein the denitration device is arranged downstream of the dust collection device on the exhaust path, and the denitration catalyst contains vanadium oxide including vanadium pentoxide and has a defect site in which an oxygen atom is deficient in a crystal structure of the vanadium pentoxide.
