The disclosure relates to a fuel supply device for supplying a fuel to an internal combustion engine comprising: a fuel store for storing a primary fuel; and at least two parallel fuel supply paths that are connected to the fuel store, on the one hand, and to the internal combustion engine, on the other hand, wherein the primary fuel can be supplied from the fuel store to the internal combustion engine by means of the first fuel supply path for the purpose of combustion, and the second fuel supply path has at least one reforming device that reforms the primary fuel supplied from the fuel tank into a secondary fuel, and to supply at least a portion of the produced secondary fuel to the internal combustion engine for the purpose of combustion.
DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID DOSER PROTECTION DURING COLD AMBIENT TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS USING CYLINDER CUTOUT METHODS
A system includes an exhaust aftertreatment system in exhaust gas receiving communication with an engine including a plurality of cylinders where the engine is structured to operate according to low load conditions and where a controller is structured to determine that at least one diesel emissions fluid (DEF) doser is frozen based on at least one of an ambient air temperature and a DEF source temperature. The controller is structured to operate the engine according to a skip-fire mode in response to a DEF flag indicating that the at least one DEF doser is frozen. The skip-fire mode comprises firing a portion of the plurality of cylinders that is less than a total amount of cylinders of the plurality of cylinders. The controller is structured to discontinue the skip-fire mode in response to determining that the at least one DEF doser is likely thawed.
Integrated emissions control system
The disclosure provides a monolithic wall-flow filter catalytic article including a substrate having an aspect ratio of from about 1 to about 20, and having a functional coating composition disposed on the substrate, the functional coating composition including a first sorbent composition, an oxidation catalyst composition, and optionally, a second sorbent composition. The monolithic wall-flow filter catalytic article may be in a close-coupled position close to the engine. The disclosure further provides an integrated exhaust gas treatment system including the monolithic wall-flow filter catalytic article and may additionally include a flow-through monolith catalytic article. The flow-through monolith catalytic article includes a substrate having a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) coating composition disposed thereon. The integrated exhaust gas treatment system simplifies the traditional four-article system into a two-article Catalyzed Soot Filter (CSF) plus Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) CSF+SCR arrangement.
FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR ECO-FRIENDLY SHIP
The present invention provides a fuel supply system, for an eco-friendly ship, which selectively uses an existing fuel and an ammonia fuel or uses a mixture thereof as a fuel for a propulsion engine and a power generation engine of a ship so as to follow ship greenhouse gas regulations to be reinforced in phases at major points until 2050.
Direct synthesis of a SAPO material with AFX structure comprising copper and use of this material
The invention concerns a process for preparing a copper-comprising SAPO material with AFX structure, comprising at least the steps of mixing, in an aqueous medium, at least one aluminum source, at least one silicon source, at least one copper source, at least one phosphorus source, a TETA complexing agent and a TMHD structuring agent, in order to obtain a gel, and hydrothermal treatment of said gel with a shear rate of less than 50 s.sup.−1 in order to obtain crystallization of said copper-comprising SAPO material with AFX structure.
EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR AN AMMONIA-BURNING COMBUSTION ENGINE
The present invention relates to a system for ammonia combustion and exhaust gas treatment, the system comprising: an internal combustion engine for combusting ammonia; and an exhaust system comprising an intake for receiving an exhaust gas from the combustion engine, an upstream injector for adding hydrogen gas to the exhaust gas and a downstream catalyst article, wherein the downstream catalyst article comprises a three-way catalyst (TWC) composition. The invention further relates to a method for the treatment of an exhaust gas from an ammonia internal combustion engine.
LNT REGENERATION WITH HYDROGEN FOR TRANSPORT ENGINE APPLICATION
An exhaust treatment system includes an exhaust line, a series of emission treatment units, and an electronic control unit. The series of emission treatment units includes a catalytic unit, a particulate filter unit, an oxidation catalytic unit, a hydrogen injection unit, and a Lean NOx Trap (LNT) for trapping select emissions. A method of operating an exhaust treatment system includes introducing a fuel to a combustion engine of a motor vehicle, directing emissions from the combustion engine to an exhaust line, and passing the emissions in the exhaust line through a series of emission treatment units on the exhaust line. The method further includes injecting hydrogen into the exhaust line via a hydrogen injection unit, where an amount of hydrogen gas injected from a hydrogen inlet line reduces the trapped emissions in the LNT to an inert gas.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HOT AIR INJECTION INTO EXHAUST PORTS
Methods and systems are provided for reducing emissions during an engine cold start. In one example, a method may include, during emission control device heating, injecting heated air into an exhaust runner of each cylinder of the engine during an exhaust stroke of the corresponding cylinder, after a blowdown exhaust pulse. In this way, an amount of hydrocarbons in feedgas provided to the emission control device prior to the emission control device reaching its light-off temperature may be reduced.
