Industrial gas turbine engine with turbine airfoil cooling
A process for retrofitting an electric power plant that uses two 60 Hertz large frame heavy duty industrial gas turbine engines to drive electric generators and produce electricity, where each of the two industrial engines can produce up to 350 MW of output power. The process replaces the two 350 MW industrial engines with one twin spool industrial gas turbine engine that is capable of producing at least 700 MW of output power. Thus, two prior art industrial engines can be replaced with one industrial engine that can produce power equal to the two prior art industrial engines.

Fan for a motor vehicle comprising a stator
The present disclosure relates to a support frame for a ventilation device for cooling a fluid which passes through a cooling circuit of a motor vehicle. The support frame comprises an opening, which is designed to receive a propeller, and a central support, which is positioned in a center of the opening. The central support is formed to receive a motor which activates the propeller, so as to generate a ventilation flow. The central support is attached through the opening to the support frame by retention arms. The retention arms extend according to a curved form, between the central support and a periphery of the opening.

Standby generator air flow management system
A standby generator includes a standby generator enclosure having a partition wall separating a first end from an opposite second end of the enclosure, one or more airflow openings, and a first air duct and a second air duct each coupled to at least one of the one or more airflow openings. An engine mounts in the enclosure toward the first end from the partition wall, and an alternator driven by the engine mounts in the enclosure toward the second end from the partition wall. The engine includes an engine cooling fan that faces the first end to drive engine cooling air received from the first air duct toward the first end, and the alternator includes an alternator cooling fan that faces the second end to drive alternator cooling air received from the second air duct toward the second end.

Cooling Control Apparatus for Internal Combustion Engine and Cooling Control Method Therefor
The present invention relates to a cooling control apparatus which performs control for cooling an internal combustion engine by causing an electric pump to circulate cooling water and causing an electric fan to supply cooling air to a radiator. The cooling control apparatus comprises an electric pump for circulating a coolant through a coolant passage formed in the internal combustion engine, and a radiator and a radiator fan which are for cooling the coolant. When the internal combustion engine stops after completion of warming-up, the radiator fan and the electric pump are driven to cool the internal combustion engine, and when a temperature of the coolant decreases to less than a temperature at a time of engine stop, the radiator fan is stopped in a state in which the electric pump is operated.
