Construction machine

Provided is a construction machine capable of collecting foreign matter into a dust collection pocket and preventing the foreign matter from being scattered. The construction machine includes a cooler, an air passage forming member including a curved section, a dust-proof filter, a cooling fan generating a normal wind for cooling and a reverse wind opposite thereto, a dust collection pocket, and a turning member. The dust collection pocket has an opening and collects foreign matter at a position downstream of the inner wall surface of the outer corner of the curved section. The turning member is turned about a turning axis by the normal wind and the reverse wind, thereby being moved between a close position to close the opening and an open position to open the opening.

SCREENING DEVICE WITH AT LEAST ONE SUCTION NOZZLE

A screening device and a self-propelled harvester with a screening device is disclosed. The screening device includes at least one suction nozzle that has an elongated hollow body with at least one suction opening which extends sectionally in the longitudinal direction and transverse direction of the hollow body, and is connected by at least one air duct in the interior of the hollow body to a connection arranged in the hollow body for connecting to a vacuum source. The suction opening is positioned facing a screen of the screening device. The air duct has a cross-sectional shape that increases in the vertical direction toward the connection starting from an outer end of the suction nozzle. An inner contour facing the suction opening of the air duct has a contour that substantially corresponds to an airfoil.

Cooling apparatus for cooling a fluid by means of surface water

A cooling apparatus for cooling a fluid by means of surface water, the cooling apparatus comprising more than one tubes for containing and transporting the fluid in its interior, the exterior of the tube being in operation at least partially submerged in the surface water so as to cool the tube to thereby also cool the fluid and hence different tube portions contain fluid at different temperatures. The cooling apparatus further comprises at least one light source for producing light that hinders fouling on the submerged exterior, wherein the at least one light source is arranged so that the intensity of the anti-fouling light, cast over the exterior of the tube portions whose exterior temperature or the temperature of the fluid they contain is below 80° C., is higher than the intensity of the anti-fouling light cast over the other tube portions. By this structure anti-fouling of the cooling apparatus can be assured in an effective manner.

Cooling device for power source for ship propulsion device

The cooling device for a power source for a ship propulsion device that pumps up cooling water, from which foreign matters with sizes that cause clogging of a cooling water route have been removed, supplies the cooling water to a cooling water passage (30), and discharges the cooling water to outside after cooling a power source (10) includes: a cartridge-type filtration device (40, 73) that is provided at a midpoint of a first water passage (36, 71) in the cooling water route and incorporates a filter (45, 46) for filtrating foreign matters remaining in the cooling water; and a second water passage (38, 72) that is branched from the first water passage and adapted such that a valve member (53) is opened to cause the cooling water to flow in a case in which clogging occurs in the filter.

Multi-fuel engine system

Various methods and systems are provided for an intake manifold for an engine. In one example, an insert comprises an annular body having a top surface, bottom surface, inner surface, and outer surface. The insert further comprises a first groove for coupling an intake air port of an intake manifold to a cylinder head, a second groove for circulating gaseous fuel received from a gas runner of the intake manifold, and one or more openings to fluidically couple the second groove to an interior of the intake air port. The insert is configured to mix gaseous fuel and intake air at a coupling location between the intake manifold and the cylinder head.

Electronic filter detection feature for liquid filtration systems

A filter monitor system (“FMS”) module is installed on the engine/vehicle and is connected to the filter systems, sensors and devices to monitor various performance parameters. The module also connects to the engine control module (“ECM”) and draws parameters from the ECM. The FMS module is capable of interfacing with various output devices such as a smartphone application, a display monitor, an OEM telematics system or a service technician's tool on a computer. The FMS module consists of hardware and software algorithms which constantly monitor filter systems and provide information to the end-user. FMS module provides necessary inputs and outputs for electronic sensors and devices.
