Active baffling for cooling systems
A cooling system includes a first cooler, a second cooler, a fan positioned to drive air through the first cooler and the second cooler, and a baffle system. The baffle system includes a baffle and an actuator. The baffle is positioned to facilitate selectively restricting airflow through at least a portion of the first cooler. The actuator is positioned to facilitate reconfiguring the baffle between (i) a first orientation where the baffle does not restrict the airflow through the portion of the first cooler and (ii) a second orientation where the baffle restricts the airflow through the portion of the first cooler, thereby diverting additional airflow through the second cooler.
SUPPORT FRAME HOLDING ARM
A support frame for a ventilation device for cooling a fluid passing through a cooling circuit of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The frame has an opening defining an opening perimeter configured to receive an impeller, and a central support positioned at the center of the opening and shaped to receive a motor actuating said impeller to generate a ventilation flow. The central support is attached, through said opening, to the frame by at least six holding arms, at least three of which are placed in a first plane or cone of revolution, and another three of which are being placed in a second plane or cone of revolution, different from the first. The first holding arms are each separated from any second holding arm at the opening perimeter by a space covering at least a distance corresponding to a chord of said first holding arms.
COOLING FAN AND COOLING FAN MODULE
A cooling fan has a fan shroud with a fan wheel recess surrounded by a shroud ring and a fan wheel rotatably mounted in the fan wheel recess for conveying the air flow along a conveying direction from a shroud upper side to a shroud underside. The fan wheel has a central hub cup with radially orientated blades and an outer ring connecting the blades at the blade tip ends. A circumferential ring gap is formed between the outer ring and the shroud ring. A rib structure in the ring gap reduces swirl in a gap flow orientated against the conveying direction. A shroud ring section of the shroud ring extends axially beyond the outer ring on the shroud underside. The shroud ring section is orientated parallel or at an angle of inclination and radially inwards relative to the conveying direction.
Heat exchanger arrangement, screen, and method for protecting a heat exchanger arrangement
A heat exchanger arrangement includes a heat exchanger having a front, a rear, and a side between the front and the rear, a fan arranged to direct an airflow from the front to the rear of the heat exchanger, and a screen disposed over at least the front and side of the heat exchanger and attached to a structure at or behind the rear of the heat exchanger.
SELF-PROPELLED GROUND MILLING MACHINE
The invention relates to a self-propelled ground milling machine, in particular a road cold milling machine, stabilizer or recycler, comprising a milling device for milling the ground at a milling depth, a machine frame supported by front and rear travel units, an internal combustion engine arranged in an engine compartment, a hydraulic system with at least two hydraulic pumps, a pump transfer gear and a hydraulic tank, and an operator platform.

INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
In an internal combustion engine, a gasket is disposed between joining surfaces of a cylinder block and a cylinder head, and a heat radiation rib that extends in a cylinder axis direction is formed on the cylinder block or the cylinder head. In such an internal combustion engine, the gasket includes: a portion to be sandwiched that is sandwiched between the joining surfaces; and an extending portion that protrudes toward an outside from the portion to be sandwiched as viewed in a cylinder axis direction.

VENTILATION DEVICE MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COOLING MODULE, VENTILATION DEVICE COMPRISING SUCH A MODULE, AND COOLING MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A VENTILATION DEVICE
The invention relates to a module, comprising:—at least one, preferably only one, tangential turbomachine (28-1; 28-2) comprising a bladed wheel (32-1; 32-2) and a motor (33-1; 33-2) for rotationally driving the bladed wheel (32-1; 32-2),—a frame (30-1; 30-2) forming an opening (60-1; 60-2), preferably only one opening,—a shut-off means (62-1; 62-2) designed to selectively shut off the opening (60-1; 60-2), the shut-off means (62-1; 62-2) having at least two regions which, in contact in a position of the shut-off means (62-1; 62-2) in which the opening (60-1; 60-2) is left free, are at a distance apart in a position in which they shut off the opening (60-1; 60-2).
Cooling module for motor vehicle
Provided is a cooling module for a motor vehicle, which modulates heat exchangers installed in front of an engine room of a motor vehicle, and more particularly, a cooling module for a motor vehicle, which is more easily assembled and has improved assembly precision by including a plate housing casing a plurality of radiators and preventing a core portion of the radiator from being damaged during assembling the radiators to each other.
