VEHICLE
A vehicle includes first and second heat exchangers, a shutter member, first and second detectors, and a control device. The first and second heat exchangers are disposed in an engine room. The first heat exchanger is used for cooling of an engine. The second heat exchanger is used for recovery of exhaust heat of the engine. The shutter member opens and closes a grille opening in a front portion of the engine room. The first detector detects a feed forward system parameter indicating a sign of a load increase the first exchanger or the second heat exchanger. The second detector detects a feedback system parameter indicating that a load in the first exchanger or the second heat exchangers has increased. The control device controls opening and closing of the shutter member and adjusts an opening degree of the shutter member based on the feed forward and feedback system parameters.

Control method for integrated thermal management system of vehicle
A control method for an integrated thermal management system of a vehicle includes: comparing an engine coolant temperature with a predetermined first set temperature after vehicle start; when the engine coolant temperature is greater than the first set temperature, comparing an ambient temperature with a set ambient temperature and comparing an air conditioner refrigerant pressure with a set pressure; and when the ambient temperature is greater than the set ambient temperature and the air conditioner refrigerant pressure is greater than the set pressure, controlling opening and closing operations of an integrated flow control valve based on the air conditioner refrigerant pressure so as to increase a flow rate of coolant that is supplied to a radiator through the integrated flow control valve.
Cooling device for engine, and failure determination method thereof
When an engine rotation speed is lower than a reference rotation speed, first failure determination in which failure of a flow rate control valve is determined based on a pressure change of cooling water detected by a pressure sensor is executed, when a valve closing instruction to switch the flow rate control valve from an opened state to a closed state is output from a valve control device; and when an engine rotation speed is equal to or higher than the reference rotation speed, second failure determination in which failure of the flow rate control valve is determined based on a pressure change of cooling water detected by a pressure sensor is executed, when a valve opening instruction to switch the flow rate control valve from a closed state to an opened state is output from the valve control device.
GENSET ENCLOSURE WITH AIR DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLY
A genset includes an enclosure and a deflector assembly. The enclosure defines an at least partially enclosed space and a ventilation air opening that fluidly couples the enclosed space with an environment surrounding the enclosure. The deflector assembly includes a deflector disposed within the enclosed space and an angle driver. The angle driver is structured to adjust an angular position of the deflector relative to the ventilation air opening to minimize exported noise.
Cooling apparatus of piston and control method thereof
A cooling apparatus of a piston according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may include a piston configured to be formed with a cooling gallery, an inlet fluidly communicated with the cooling gallery, and an outlet fluidly communicated with the cooling gallery, therein, a first oil jet configured to inject cooling oil into the inlet, and a second oil jet configured to inject cooling oil into the outlet.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF WASTE ENERGY RECOVERY FROM A SOURCE OF HEATED FLUID
A system and method of recovering waste heat from an engine when the engine is not operating, which includes connecting a heater core to source of fluid heated due to operation of the engine with fluid lines, the flow of fluid from the source of heated fluid controlled by one or more pump, and operating the pumps when the engine is not operating to circulate the fluid from the source of heated fluid through the heater core. A second aspect includes a portable heat recovery system.
Apparatus for controlling engine and method thereof
An apparatus for controlling an engine and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus includes an integrated thermal management (ITM) that adjusts opening of a plurality of valves as a cam rotates and a storage that stores a table for differential pressure between a front end and a rear end of each of the plurality of valves, based on an engine revolution per minute (RPM) and an ITM angle. A controller determines a state of the ITM and adjusts opening degrees of the plurality of valves depending on the differential pressure of the valve, based on the differential pressure table based on the state of the ITM.
AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM
An agricultural system including an agricultural baler and a control unit. The baler includes a driveline including at least one heat generating component; a rotatable flywheel; a rotary input shaft connectable by the driveline to the rotatable flywheel; and at least one pump for supplying cooling fluid at a cooling fluid pressure to the at least one heat generating component. The control unit is configured to: receive baler-data indicative of one or more operating conditions of the agricultural baler; receive cooling-pressure-data indicative of a flow of the cooling fluid supplied by the at least one pump; set a threshold-condition based on the baler-data; and provide a control-signal to the agricultural baler based on a comparison between the cooling-pressure-data and the threshold-condition.
