Method and system for performing evaporative emissions diagnostics
11326560 · 2022-05-10 · ·

Methods and systems for performing diagnostics on an evaporative emission are described. The methods and systems may include evaluating pressure or vacuum development within an evaporative emissions system over time to determine the presence or absence of a breach in the evaporative emissions system. If a breach is identified, mitigating actions may be performed.

CLUTCH DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE FAN
20230139344 · 2023-05-04 ·

A clutch device for a vehicle fan includes a drive-side clutch element and an output-side clutch element. The clutch device includes a locking mechanism configured between the drive-side clutch element and the output-side clutch element so that a rotary connection established between the drive-side clutch element and the output-side clutch element is released when a drive-side rotational speed reduces in comparison with an output-side rotational speed.

SURGICAL STAPLING INSTRUMENT HAVING A RELEASABLE BUTTRESS MATERIAL

A surgical stapler including an anvil, a staple cartridge, and a buttress material removably retained to the anvil and/or staple cartridge. In various embodiments, the staple cartridge can include at least one staple removably stored therein which can, when deployed, or fired, therefrom, contact the buttress material and remove the buttress material from the anvil and/or staple cartridge. In at least one embodiment, the anvil can include at least one lip and/or groove configured to removably retain the buttress material to the anvil until deformable members extending from the surgical staple are bent by the anvil and are directed toward and contact the buttress material.

Intake manifold

An intake manifold that allows air to flow through the intake manifold, engine, and exhaust from the engine, until the engine is cooled to a desired temperature.

Cooling Device

A cooling device uses siphon circulation whose heat source is an object-to-be-cooled installed in a vehicle to circulate refrigerant to the object-to-be-cooled, the cooling device including: a tank that is disposed above the object-to-be-cooled and stores the refrigerant; an outflow path that opens to the inside of the tank and through which the refrigerant flows out; a passage member that extends from the inside to the outside of the tank, with an open end of an inside section of the passage member positioned inside the tank being positioned above an opening of the outflow path; and identifying means that is provided at an outside section of the passage member positioned outside the tank and by which the position of the open end inside the tank can be identified.

METHOD FOR CLEANING COOLING SYSTEM OF A WORK MACHINE AND SYSTEM THEREOF

A control system for controlling a work machine includes an engine for producing power to propel the work machine during a normal operating mode, a cooling system for cooling at least the engine during the normal operating mode, and a controller for controlling the cleaning system during the normal operating mode and a clean operating mode. During the normal operating mode, the engine is running and the controller operably controls a cooling fan of the cooling system to rotate in a first rotational direction to produce a first air flow in a first direction. During the clean operating mode, the engine is not running and the controller operably controls the cooling fan to rotate in a second rotational direction to produce a second air flow in a second direction. The first rotational direction is opposite the second rotational direction, and the first direction is opposite the second direction.

Staple cartridge having staple cavities extending at a transverse angle relative to a longitudinal cartridge axis

Method for turbocharger key-off cooling control based on engine load, and engine system implementing the same

A method for turbocharger key-off cooling control may include performing turbocharger key-off cooling control based on engine load for circulating engine coolant to a turbocharger cooling line when high cooling performance of a vehicle is checked by a coolant temperature and an oil temperature at which a turbocharger controller does not require operation of an auxiliary electric water pump when an engine is stopped.
