A damper device and a total heat exchanger including the same are provided in the present application, including: a damper plate, including an air port cover plate, and a rotating shaft disposed at the air port cover plate and extending along a diameter direction of the air port cover plate; and a damper plate fixing base configured to fix the damper plate inside the damper plate fixing base and including a fixing groove formed opposite to the rotating shaft and configured to fix the rotating shaft, the fixing groove including a recess disposed opposite to the rotating shaft and formed by further being recessed from at least a part of the outer circumference of the fixing groove. According to the above technical solutions of the present application, the damper device can ensure performance without reducing the air volume under low temperature conditions, and can also suppress icing of the damper device.

MAIN HEADER FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE RADIATOR
Embodiment of the present disclosure relate to an improved main header for an internal combustion engine radiator. In one embodiment, a main header for an internal combustion engine radiator has cut-outs and V-shaped notches provided at the four corners of the main header. The cut-outs and V-shaped notches release the stresses after the main header is flanged, thereby ensuring the flatness or straightness of the main header. The main header further includes one or more strengthening strips disposed along the length sides and the width sides of the main header, and optionally at the region adjacent to the cut-outs, to further enhance the flatness of the main header.
SNAP FIT HEAT EXCHANGER BRACKET
A heat exchanger bracket for an automotive cooling module may include a first mounting assembly disposed at a first end of the heat exchanger bracket, a second mounting assembly disposed at a second end of the heat exchanger bracket, and a bracket container disposed between the first and second ends of the heat exchanger bracket. The first mounting assembly may include a first free floating retention point, and the second mounting assembly may include a second free floating retention point. The bracket container may be configured to receive a heat exchanger. The bracket container may include a first flexible retainer disposed at a first longitudinal end thereof, and a second flexible retainer disposed at a second longitudinal end thereof. The first and second flexible retainers may be configured to engage opposing longitudinal ends of the heat exchanger responsive to insertion of the heat exchanger into the bracket container.
Methods and systems for a cooling arrangement
Methods and systems are provided for a cooling arrangement. In one example, the cooling arrangement comprises flowing coolant to only an upper portion of a cylinder head during a cold-start. The cooling arrangement comprises flowing coolant to a cylinder block, a lower portion of the cylinder-head, and the upper portion of the cylinder head outside of the cold-start.

A heat exchanger bracket for an automotive cooling module may include a first mounting assembly disposed at a first end of the heat exchanger bracket, a second mounting assembly disposed at a second end of the heat exchanger bracket, and a bracket container disposed between the first and second ends of the heat exchanger bracket. The first mounting assembly may include a first free floating retention point, and the second mounting assembly may include a second free floating retention point. The bracket container may be configured to receive a heat exchanger. The bracket container may include a first flexible retainer disposed at a first longitudinal end thereof, and a second flexible retainer disposed at a second longitudinal end thereof. The first and second flexible retainers may be configured to engage opposing longitudinal ends of the heat exchanger responsive to insertion of the heat exchanger into the bracket container.
VEHICLE FAN SHROUD WITH INTEGRATED SUPPORT STRUCTURE
Systems are provided for a vehicle fan shroud with integrated structural support. In one example, a fan shroud includes an opening adapted to house a fan impeller, and an upper extension and a lower foot adapted to couple the fan shroud to a vehicle in an angled position. The upper extension and lower foot provide structural support to the fan shroud to enable vehicle components such as a heat exchanger and condenser to be mounted to the fan shroud and maintained in position by the fan shroud.
Cooling system
A cooling system may include a skeleton frame having a central opening to receive and frame at least one cooling core. The skeleton frame has an interior to contain at least one conduit through which at least one fluid to be cooled may flow to the at least one cooling core. The cooling system may further include a skin wrapping over and about the skeleton frame to seal the interior of the skeleton frame.
