Straddle vehicle

A straddle vehicle includes: a prime mover; a hydraulically actuated main clutch; an oil control valve unit; a power unit case accommodating at least the main clutch; an oil pan mounted beneath the power unit case; a clutch-dedicated pump; a primary filter disposed in an oil passage between the oil pan and the clutch-dedicated pump; and a secondary filter disposed in an oil passage between the clutch-dedicated pump and the oil control valve unit. The primary filter and the secondary filter are mounted on a bottom surface of the power unit case and covered from below by the oil pan.

STRADDLED VEHICLE

A straddled vehicle having an engine unit. The engine unit includes an engine body having a cylinder axis tilting forward, a radiator including a radiator core, a turbocharger including a turbine wheel and a compressor wheel, and an intercooler including an intercooler core. In a side view, at least a part of the intercooler core, a part of the turbine wheel and a part of the radiator core are within an area enclosed by a first connecting line, a second connecting line, an engine-body front-surface and a wheel rear-surface. In an upward-downward or forward-backward direction of the cylinder axis, the intercooler-core upper end is more upward than the turbine-wheel upper end, the intercooler-core front end is more frontward than the turbine-wheel front end, the intercooler-core lower end is more upward than the radiator-core upper end, and the radiator-core rear end is more frontward than both the turbine-wheel rear end and the intercooler-core rear end.

Straddled vehicle

A straddled vehicle includes a radiator arranged forward relative to an internal combustion engine and an ECU arranged sideward of the internal combustion engine. At least a portion of a tubular air passage through which the air for cooling the ECU passes is formed between a support cover supporting the ECU and an outer cover. A front cover, an upper cover and an under cover form a groove portion, which extends rearward from a front end portion located upward and forward relative to the radiator and is recessed inward in the vehicle width direction. An inlet opening that communicates with the air passage is formed in the groove portion.

An internal combustion engine which can be miniaturized, even where it includes an oil filter between a hydraulic clutch and an oil pump, without significantly increasing the length of an oil passage for the hydraulic clutch, the oil pump and a hydraulic pressure adjustment apparatus. A second oil filter is provided on an oil pan at a lower portion of the internal combustion engine so as to be disposed at a position at which the second oil filter does not overlap with any of a controlling oil pump and a hydraulic pressure adjustment apparatus as viewed in side elevation and which is lower than those of the oil pump and the hydraulic pressure adjustment apparatus.

Power unit

A power unit includes: a crankcase which accommodates a crankshaft and a main shaft arranged in parallel to each other; a crank side cover which covers one end portion of the crankshaft from the outside in an axial direction of the crankshaft; a primary driven gear which is provided in the main shaft and meshes with a primary drive gear of the crankshaft; a clutch provided at one end portion of the main shaft; and a clutch cover which covers the clutch from the outside in an axial direction of the main shaft and is fastened and fixed to a packing surface provided on the crankcase to surround the clutch, wherein the primary driven gear and the packing surface overlap in a virtual straight line when viewed from the axial direction of the main shaft.

Saddle type vehicle

A motorcycle (saddle type vehicle) includes a vehicle body frame, an engine, a bracket and an ignition coil. The engine is mounted to the vehicle body frame. The bracket is mounted to the vehicle body frame. The ignition coil is mounted to the bracket. The bracket includes a frame mounting part, an extension part, and an ignition coil mounting part. The frame mounting part is mounted to the vehicle body frame. The extension part extends away from the frame mounting part toward an outer side in a left-right direction. The ignition coil is mounted to the ignition coil mounting part such that the ignition coil is positioned in the outer side in the left-right direction of the vehicle body frame.
