EXTRUDED PET FOOD PRODUCT
The present invention relates to an extruded pet food product which enables satiety to be improved in a pet animal. The present invention relates to an extruded packaged pet food product containing from over 15% to 30% moisture, from 11% up to 45% carbohydrate, fat and protein, an a.sub.w of over 0.7 and a density in the range of 250 to 300 g/l, for use in achieving satiety in a pet animal. The invention also relates to a method of achieving satiety in an animal, the method comprising feeding an extruded packaged pet food product containing from over 15% to 30% moisture, from 11% up to 45% carbohydrate, fat and protein an a.sub.w of over 0.9 and a density in the range of 250 to 300 g/l to a pet animal.
Edible pet chew made from an edible malleable sheet
An edible pet chew has an initially malleable sheet of a hardened chewable material dimensioned large enough and thin enough to be initially malleable for flexing, folding or rolling into a final shape. The sheet is shaped into a final shape by flexing, folding or rolling and then hardened.

Methods of feeding high fat poured feed blocks
Methods of feeding ruminants involve positioning the feed blocks in a pasture accessible to the ruminants. The feed block may have a total fat content of about 7 wt % to 33 wt % and an intake modifier to control intake of the feed blocks. High fat pellets having a high total fat content provide at least a portion of the fat in the high fat feed blocks. The methods control a rate of ingestion of high fat feed blocks by ruminants while not negatively affecting performance, and in some instances, ingestion of the blocks results in improved performance.

Compact Nutrient Dense Freeze-Dried Pet Food Product
A freeze-dried pet food meal bar that is 100% nutritionally complete consisting of more than 30% crude protein, 35% crude fat, less than 20% carbohydrate and less than 10% moisture. The product will consist primarily of animal protein. Vitamins and mineral will be supplied via fruits and vegetables. Since the product is freeze dried the product will be semi-fractural and can be broken into smaller pieces for feeding. Each bar will be approximately 5 to 6 inches long, 2 to 3 inches wide, approximately ½ inches thick and weigh 2 to 3 ounces. A single bar will be targeted to feed a 40 pound dog. Dogs below 40 pounds would feed less than one bar (ex. 20 pound dog gets ½ bar). Dogs above 40 pounds would feed more than one bar (ex. 80 pound dog gets 2 bars).

COMPOSITION MANUFACTURED FROM FREEZE-DRIED EMBRYONIC SPROUTED PLANTS, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A composition is manufactured from a freeze-dried mixture comprising one or more freeze-dried embryonic sprouted plants and one or more flavorings, such as a fruit, vegetable, or other natural or artificial flavoring. In some embodiments, the composition is molded into desired shapes and packaged. In other embodiments, the composition is not molded but pulverized into powder for reconstitution. The composition is manufactured by controlling the dry heat added, controlling the growth cycle of the embryonic sprouted plants, and including a step of freeze-drying the mixture. The food is intended to be consumed by human being or lower animals in whole or part via the oral cavity.
