Apparatuses, Systems, And Methods For Pump Control In Therapy Devices
This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods related to therapy devices including pumps that are operable in multiple operating modes. An exemplary wound therapy device includes a pump configured to be worn by a user and a controller coupled to the pump and configured to transition the pump from operating in a first operating mode to operating in a second operating mode responsive to a pressure of the wound therapy device satisfying a first pressure threshold. The first operating mode is associated with a first drive voltage that is different from a second drive voltage associated with the second operating mode.
Acoustic detection of a usage of an injection device
Implementations of the present disclosure are directed to an injection device (102) including a medicament reservoir (103) configured to store a medicament to be expelled by the injection device (102), an acoustic source (122a, 122b, 122c, 122d, 200, 300, 400) configured to generate an acoustic signal including information indicative of an amount of the medicament stored in the medicament reservoir (103), the acoustic signal being transmitted to an external device (104) configured to process the acoustic signal and to extract injection device data.
Medicament pumps and control systems for managing glucose control therapy data of a subject
Glucose control systems are disclosed. An ambulatory medicament pump that is configured to wirelessly transmit one or more of a plurality of glucose control parameters and glucose control therapy data to a second ambulatory medicament pump is disclosed. A control system for transferring historical pump data from a first ambulatory medicament pump to a second ambulatory medicament pump is also disclosed. The control system can receive the historical pump data from a first ambulatory medicament pump, determine that at least one of a plurality of pairing conditions is satisfied to connect the data interface to the second ambulatory medicament pump, transmit, via the data interface, a pairing signal to the second ambulatory medicament pump, and transmit at least one of the therapy data associated with the delivery of the glucose control therapy or the glucose control parameter.
FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT SHEET
A surgical instrument is disclosed having an elongated body portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The body portion is formed from a plastically deformable material such that the body portion can be bent between the proximal and distal ends from a first configuration to a second bent configuration and maintains the bent configuration. A flexible circuit having at least a pair of lead wires disposed around the body portion. The pair of lead wires are configured to conform to the bent configuration of the body portion such that they do not break during bending of the body portion. A tracking device adapted to cooperate with a navigation system to track the distal end of the instrument is coupled to the flexible circuit.
ROTARY DOSAGE SENSING MODULE FOR AND IN A DISPOSABLE PEN DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A dosage sensing module for or in a pen drug delivery device and comprising a power source unit, a processor unit and a dosage sensor unit with a first sensor part adapted to be fixed to a part not rotating during dose expelling and comprising a flexible printed circuit board sheet on which a pattern of individual electrical conductive sensor areas are arranged. The sensor unit further comprises a second sensor part adapted to be fixed to the piston rod to follow the rotation thereof during dose expelling. The second sensor part comprises individual structures that together with the conductive sensor areas are adapted to, upon relative rotational movement between the first and second sensor part, provide electrical signals to a processor unit indicative of the relative rotational position between the first and second sensor part.
Infusion pump assembly
A fluid connector assembly is disclosed. The fluid connector assembly includes a body portion, a plug portion located on the body portion, the plug portion comprising a fluid path, a tubing, a first end of the tubing fluidly connected to the plug fluid path, a catch feature located on a first end of the body portion and configured to interact with a reservoir, and a latching feature located on a second end of the body portion, the latching feature configured to interact and lock onto the reservoir.
BREAST PUMP MILK FLOW RATE SENSOR SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A breast pump milk flow sensor system and apparatus for accurately assessing both a flow rate and amount of milk expressed during a pumping session is provided. The breast pump milk flow rate sensor system and apparatus may be contained within a breast pump.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN INFUSION PUMP ASSEMBLY
A system for delivery of a volume of infusible fluid. The system includes a controller configured to calculate a trajectory for delivering infusible fluid, the trajectory comprising at least one volume of fluid, and determine a schedule for delivering the at least one volume of fluid according to the trajectory, wherein the schedule comprising an interval and a volume of infusible fluid for delivery. The system also includes a volume sensor assembly for determining the at least one volume of fluid delivered, wherein the controller recalculates the trajectory based on the volume of fluid delivered.
Safety-critical drug delivery parameter determination
The safety and reliability of drug delivery systems are improved by the use of smartphones for calculating safety critical delivery parameters. A drug delivery device is adapted to perform a drug delivery operation based on an unconfirmed drug delivery instructions determined by a processing unit of a control device by applying a basic mathematic operation to control device input data. The drug delivery device comprises a communication module to receive, from the control device, the basic mathematic operation and the control device input data, and a redundancy module to determine a redundant drug delivery instructions by applying the basic mathematic operation to the control device input data received from the control device. The drug delivery device is adapted to prevent execution of the drug delivery operation if the unconfirmed drug delivery instructions and the redundant drug delivery instructions are found, by a comparator module, to conflict.
