WATER TANK MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR VENTILATION TREATMENT APPARATUS AND VENTILATION TREATMENT APPARATUS
A water tank mounting structure and a ventilation treatment apparatus for such structure. The water tank mounting structure comprises a cavity for containing a water tank and a side wall defining the cavity, wherein the side wall comprises an inner side wall spaced apart from an outer side, a first gas hole provided in the inner side wall, and a second gas hole provided in the outer side wall, both holes arranged in a staggered manner perpendicular to the side wall. The arrangement of the double-layer side wall, and the first and second gas holes in the inner and outer side walls, respectively, allows for hot gas in the cavity to be effectively removed. The staggered arrangement of the gas holes allows for water to flow downward along the side wall without invading the cavity when water enters through the second gas hole. A waterproof effect is achieved.
Cartridge orientation for selection of a control function in a vaporization system
The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices comprising a power unit and a cartridge that is configured for engagement with the power unit. In particular, the cartridge can be configured for rotation about a longitudinal axis thereof so as to be insertable into a chamber of the power unit in a plurality of different orientations. Further, the aerosol delivery device can include processing circuitry that can be configured for detection of the cartridge orientation and execution of a control function assigned to the respective orientation.
Therapeutic garments and methods of use thereof
The present invention relates to an apparatus that provides therapeutic effects and a source of hydration. The apparatus includes a garment that has one or more compartments for storing a therapeutic element. The therapeutic element may include one or more herbs, essential oils, and combinations thereof. The apparatus also includes a portable drinking apparatus attached to the garment. The portable drinking apparatus includes a pouch having a liquid reservoir inserted therein and a drinking tube having a first end in fluid communication with the liquid reservoir and a second end having a mouth operated valve. Methods of use are also disclosed.
INFUSION OF DRUGS
An at least partly implantable system for injecting a substance into a patient's body. The system comprises at least one flexibly bendable infusion needle with a tip end of each of said at least one infusion needle arranged in at least one first housing for penetrating the first housing's outer wall in at least one penetration area and having the respective other end arranged in at least one second housing, the first and second housings being adapted for implantation inside the patient's body, wherein the at least one second housing is provided for implantation inside the patient's body remote from the at least one first housing and wherein the injection needle is sufficiently long to bridge the distance from the at least one second housing for remote implantation to the at least one first housing and further through the first housing up to the outer wall of the first housing. The system further comprises at least one drive unit adapted for being coupled to the at least one infusion needle and arranged at least for advancing the tip end of the at least one infusion needle so that the at least one infusion needle penetrates with the tip end or ends thereof said at least one first housing's outer wall in said at least one penetration area.
SMOKING SUBSTITUTE APPARATUS
A smoking substitute apparatus comprising an air inlet, a first passage leading from the air inlet to a first outlet, and an aerosol generator arranged in fluid communication with the first passage, the aerosol generator being operable to generate an aerosol from an aerosol precursor, to flow in use along the first passage downstream of the aerosol generator for inhalation by a user drawing on the outlet. The smoking substitute apparatus further comprises a second passage leading from the air inlet to a second outlet, separate from the first outlet, wherein the second passage bypasses the first passage downstream of the aerosol generator.
BLOOD PUMP
The invention relates to a blood pump. The blood pump comprises a flexible drive shaft guided in a catheter, a conveying element connected to the drive shaft in a distal region of the drive shaft, and a motor, wherein the motor has a stator and a rotor mounted such that it can move in the stator. The stator comprises a winding and the rotor comprises a rotor magnet. In addition, the drive shaft is connected to the rotor at a proximal end of the drive shaft. The stator and the rotor are nondetachably connected to one another, and form a gap with a ring-shaped cross-section, which is delimited by the rotor and the stator.
DEVICE, METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR PELVIC FLOOR REHABILITATION
Systems, devices, and methods for a pelvic floor rehabilitation device are provided. A pelvic floor rehabilitation device includes a handle for holding the device, a shaft extending from the handle which can be inserted into a vagina and caused to expand at least in part, a controller which receives instructions to control operation of the device, and at least one sensor to collect data during operation of the device. The device may further include a transmitter to transmit the collected data to a computing device. The device may further include a lubrication system for lubricating the vagina and a temperature system for heating or cooling the vagina. The device may further include buttons by which a user can control the operation of the device.
Temperature measurement and feedback for therapeutic hypothermia
A treatment system includes a delivery device which delivers a combination of a breathing gas and frozen ice or other particles to a patient in order to induce hypothermia. The treatment system also includes a temperature system for measuring the temperature of exhaled gases and a controller which can adjust the duration or rate at which the ice particles are delivered in order to control the patient's core temperature based on the measured exhalation gas temperature.
MULTI-CHANNEL AND REVERSED AIRFLOW MOUTHPIECE FOR AN AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE
The mouthpiece for an aerosol-generating article comprises a housing with an inlet end, configured to allow an aerosol to flow into the mouthpiece, an outlet end, configured to allow the aerosol to flow out of the mouthpiece, and an aerosol flow path extending between the inlet and the outlet end. The mouthpiece is formed such that the flow direction of the aerosol is reversed at least once between the inlet and the outlet end. The invention also concerns an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device and the mouthpiece, as well as a method for assembling the mouthpiece.
