Throttle replacing device
A compressor like unit which can be attached to an internal combustion engine controls the amount of the air mass that passes through its cylinder to the internal combustion engine based on the engine load condition requirement at a given time replacing this way the throttle device function and creating thus a throttle-less internal combustion engine. The compressor can be built in different ways and can function as one or multiple units attached directly to the engine through its crankshaft or a gear box or by other means.

Drive Mechanism and Accessory System
A drive mechanism that connects to a rotary drive component for transferring rotary motion to another component. The drive mechanism may be a conversion assembly to facilitate a connection to an existing rotary drive component and transfer the rotary motion to another component. The drive mechanism may include a drive shaft, a housing with a rotary bearing and seal, an enclosure and a drive pulley or other transfer component.

INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
An internal combustion engine has a crankshaft with at least one throw being formed as a complete disc over at least a portion of its thickness. Permanent magnets are attached to the disc of the at least one throw in an annular array. Electromagnets are attached to the engine block, a brace coupled to the engine block, and/or an oil pan mounted to the engine block. The brace may include one or more circular structures surrounding the discs of the throws, and may support the electromagnets. The electromagnets are positioned opposite the permanent magnets. A control system selectively provides electrical current to the electromagnets to affect the motion of the crankshaft, and may further selectively activate and deactivate at least one of the cylinders by stopping fuel flow, spark, and/or intake valve actuation.

ACCESSORY MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR ENGINE
An accessory mounting structure of an engine 1 includes a crankshaft 2 that extends in a first direction. The engine 1 supports an accessory 7 via a bracket 8. The bracket 8 includes a first portion 16 connected to the engine 1, and a second portion 17 connected to the accessory 7 and having a lower rigidity than the first portion 16. The second portion 17 functions as a dynamic damper that attenuates vibration of the engine 1 by vibrating in an opposite phase to the vibration of the engine 1 and in the first direction when the engine 1 vibrates in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction on a horizontal plane.
Rotary engine and power output method
A rotary engine is provided, comprising a stator and a rotor rotatably connected thereto. A stator holder with an annular recessed variable track guide groove is on each end of the stator. A sidewall, close to the rotor, of the stator is provided with an arc-shaped combustible gas groove, a combustible gas inlet, a ring-shape groove, a combustion chamber, a decompression device and an exhaust gas outlet. A compression-resistant element is provided in the ring-shape groove. The rotor is provided with a combustible gas piston chamber having a combustible gas piston, a slider slot having slider, and gas exchange channels. The sliders on the same generating line on the rotor and the combustible gas piston are connected fixedly to the same sliding rod in a sliding rod groove, and the two ends of the sliding rod extend into the annular recessed variable track guide groove of the corresponding stator holder.
Distributed propulsion and electric power generation system
A propulsion and electric power generation system includes a gas turbine propulsion engine, an electrical generator, an aircraft power distribution system, a plurality of auxiliary fans, and a controller. The gas turbine propulsion engine includes at least a low-pressure turbine coupled to a fan via a low-pressure spool, and the low-pressure turbine is configured to generate mechanical power. The electrical generator is directly connected to the low-pressure spool and generates a total amount of electrical power (Pe). The aircraft power distribution system receives a first fraction (Pa) of the total amount of electrical power. The auxiliary fans receive a second fraction (Pf) of the total amount of electrical power. The controller is configured to control a ratio of Pf to Pa (Pf/Pa) such that the ratio spans a range from less than 0.6 to at least 0.9.
