Convertible personal multimedia pod
The present disclosure provides personal multimedia pods that convert from an enclosable premium theater system with seating for one or more users to an unenclosed chair and/or to an output audio/video device capable of connecting (e.g., wirelessly connecting) to other audio/visual equipment.
WHOLE-BODY HYPERTHERMIA SYSTEM
A whole-body hyperthermia system for raising the body temperature of the entire body of an individual to a predetermined target temperature and for stabilizing the body temperature at the target temperature comprises an apparatus means for raising the body temperature at a rate of at least 1 C./hour, and at least a second thermal means for further adjusting the body temperature to the target temperature Tb. The second thermal means comprises a fluid circuit, which is at least partially within the individual, and a fluid, heated by a heat exchanger to a set temperature is circulated through the fluid circuit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DRUG DELIVERY
A drug delivery control apparatus (e.g. a treatment apparatus) may be configured to control an amount of drug contained in a drug depot delivered or otherwise perfused or diffused into the circulatory system of a patient comprising a cooling element configured for cooling a treatment area by removing heat from the treatment area. The cooling element may be arranged above or near the treatment area. A heat disposal assembly is in thermal communication with the cooling element and configured for directing the removed heat to a heat zone away from the treatment area. A power source, a controller and a housing may be configured to at least partially house at least the cooling element and the heat disposal assembly.
System and Method For Cooling The Brain Of A Human Subject
A system for cooling the brain of a human subject, includes a cooling subsystem which inputs a flow of air or breathable gas, cool the air or breathable gas, and outputs cooled air or breathable gas which is delivered to a human subject. A flow control device controls a flow rate of the flow of the air or breathable gas input to the cooling subsystem and a flow rate of the cooled air or breathable gas delivered to the human subject. One or more flow rate sensors measure at least a flow rate of flow of cooled air or breathable gas. One or more temperature sensors measure at least a temperature of a brain and the temperature of the flow of cooled air or breathable gas. A controller adjusts a cooling rate, the temperature, and the flow rate of flow of cooled air or breathable gas delivered to the human subject to cool the brain of the human subject.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR HEATING DIALYSATE FOR DIALYSIS MACHINES
Dialysis machines and methods for heating dialysate before delivery into a dialysis patient (e.g., peritoneal dialysis machines) may comprise a dialysis machine including one or more internal cooling components configured to expel heated air from the dialysis machine. A receptacle may be configured to receive one or more containers of dialysate. The one or more containers of dialysate may be positionable relative to the expelled heated air of the dialysis machine. The expelled heated air may be flowable around the one or more containers of dialysate to increase a temperature of the dialysate. The receptacle may include a stand for positioning the dialysis machine such that the expelled heated air is directed around the one or more containers of dialysate.
Systems and methods for ambulatory generation of nitric oxide
Systems and methods are provided for portable and compact nitric oxide (NO) generation that can be embedded into other therapeutic devices or used alone. In some embodiments, an ambulatory NO generation system can be comprised of a controller and disposable cartridge. The cartridge can contain filters and scavengers for preparing the gas used for NO generation and for scrubbing output gases prior to patient inhalation. The system can utilize an oxygen concentrator to increase nitric oxide production and compliment oxygen generator activity as an independent device. The system can also include a high voltage electrode assembly that is easily assembled and installed. Various nitric oxide delivery methods are provided, including the use of a nasal cannula.
Sleep pod
Introduced are methods and systems for a sleep pod. An occupant of a sleep pod can have a personalized sleeping experience based on an analysis of biological signals, environmental characteristics, occupant history, and other factors.
System for enhancing sleep recovery and promoting weight loss
The present invention provides systems, methods, and articles for stress reduction and sleep promotion. A stress reduction and sleep promotion system includes at least one remote device, at least one body sensor, and at least one remote server. In other embodiments, the stress reduction and sleep promotion system includes machine learning.
Modular Blood Product Storage System for Temperature-Regulated Storage of Blood Products
Modular blood product storage system for temperature-regulated storage of blood products with a temperature regulation unit for temperature regulation of the blood product storage system, a base unit and at least one agitator unit with an upper connection side, a lower connection side, a movable compartment to receive the blood products and a drive for movement of the compartment, wherein the compartment is arranged between the upper connection side and the lower connection side, wherein the upper connection side of the agitator unit is selectively connectable to the temperature regulation unit or a further agitator unit, and wherein the lower connection side of the agitator unit is selectively connectable to the base unit or a further agitator unit.
SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING DRIVER'S EMOTION IN VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
a vehicle includes: a sensor configured to sense a condition of a user using at least one sensor, a storage configured to store information on a relationship between the sensor and an emotional factor and feedback information for the user with regard to the emotional factor, and a controller configured to acquire information on the current emotional condition of the user based on values measured by the sensor and control a feedback device provided in the vehicle so that the current emotional condition of the user reaches a target emotion.
