SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENDOTRACHEAL DELIVERY OF FROZEN PARTICLES
A treatment system delivers a breathing gas and frozen ice or other particles (FSP) to a bronchus of a lung of a patient in order to induce hypothermia. The breathing gas and the FSP are usually delivered through separate lumens. Clogging of an FSP lumen can be inhibited by heating and/or cooling of the lumen. The temperature of exhaled gases or a body temperature may be measured, and a controller can adjust the duration or rate at which the ice particles are delivered in order to control the patient's core temperature based on the measured temperature.
VAPORIZING DEVICE
A vaporizing device for vaporizing aromatic substances is provided. The vaporizing device includes a heat exchanger configured to heat fresh air to a sub-combustion vaporizing temperature while maintaining the fresh air free from combustion byproducts. The vaporizing device further includes an internal heating cavity configured to permit heating of the aromatic substance via convection.

Exemplary embodiments are directed to an apparatus for manipulating one or more characteristics of air to be inhaled. The apparatus includes an outer housing including an outer surface, a hollow interior, and at least one opening formed in the outer housing and extending between the outer surface and the hollow interior. The apparatus includes a manipulation enclosure disposed within the hollow interior of the outer housing, the manipulation enclosure capable of receiving therein an air characteristic manipulation component. RESPIRATORY APPARATUS WITH MULTIPLE POWER SUPPLIES
A respiratory apparatus includes components to permit different operations of the apparatus with different power supplies. For example, a respiratory therapy apparatus for controlling a respiratory therapy may include a power input circuit to receive a first power or a second power. The first power may be provided by a connectable low-power power supply and the second power by a connectable high-power power supply. A controller of the respiratory apparatus coupled to the power input circuit may be configured to detect one of the power supplies, and based on the detection, selectively activate one of a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation. The first mode of operation may be a non-therapy mode with the first power such as for a data setup or data transfer with the respiratory therapy apparatus and the second mode of operation may be a therapy mode with the second power.
CHILLED-AIR INHALER DEVICE AND METHODS OF USING A CHILLED-AIR INHALER DEVICE FOR THE ALLEVIATION OF RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS
A chilled-air inhaler device for the alleviation of respiratory symptoms includes a body containing a hollow chamber through which air is forced or drawn past at least an air-chilling surface. In an embodiment the air-chilling surface may include water ice. Connected to the body and hollow chamber at one end is a mouthpiece including an opening that connects from environmental air outside of the hollow chamber to the hollow chamber. Connected to the hollow chamber at a second end is an inlet which connects to a source of air. In an embodiment, the inlet may connect to an external device such blower or nebulizer.

A cooling device for a closed-circuit respirator includes a device housing and a coolant arrangement. The device housing has a gas inlet, which is configured to admit a gas to be cooled into the device housing, and has a gas outlet, which is configured to let the gas admitted through the gas inlet into the device housing out of the device housing. The coolant arrangement is arranged in the device housing and the coolant arrangement has a first coolant with a first melting point T1 and a second coolant with a second melting point T2. The first coolant and the second coolant are arranged in the coolant arrangement such that no direct contact is possible between the first or second coolant and the gas being cooled. The first melting point T1 is different from the second melting point T2.
Heating Weighted Blanket and Accessory
The present invention discloses a heating weighted blanket and accessory, including a blanket and accessory sleeve body, where balance weight areas are evenly distributed in the blanket and accessory sleeve body, balance weight beads are disposed in the balance weight areas, and an inner side of the balance weight area is partially provided with a heating layer. The heating layer is a graphene heating sheet, and the heating layer is connected to a power switch interface on an outer surface of the blanket and accessory sleeve body. Filling balance weights of the present invention are reasonable, the combination of a filler and a blanket and accessory is complete, and the balance weights can be evenly distributed on the blanket and accessory, are not partially overweight and are good in liquidity. Moreover, the blanket and accessory has a rapid heating mode, enables a user to quickly enter a warm state in winter and is high in comfort. Besides, in conjunction with the weighted blanket and accessory, pressure can be released, and anxiety is relieved.
