An exemplary gas turbine power plant includes a gas turbine with a compressor having a compressor inlet. A combustion chamber follows the compressor and a turbine follows the combustion chamber. A cross section of the compressor inlet includes an inner sector and an outer sector in relation to the axis of rotation of the compressor. A plurality of feed ducts introduces oxygen-reduced gas into the inner sector of the compressor inlet. The plurality of feed ducts is arranged in the compressor inlet so as to be distributed in a circumferential direction on a circle concentrically with respect to the axis of the gas turbine.

In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides a multiloop gas turbine with enhanced efficiency close to Ericsson/Carnot Cycle and a method of operating the multiloop gas turbine.
Duct burner of HRSG with liner film cooling
A duct burner assembly for a HRSG having a casing that defines a combustion chamber with a liner for communicating an exhaust gas. A firing runner attaches to the liner and extends through the combustion chamber. The firing runner defines a plurality of orifices for emitting combustible gas and sustaining a flame. A flame stabilizer attaches to the firing runner and is configured to at least partially shield the plurality of orifices from the exhaust gas. A guide plate attaches to the firing runner and is configured to define a slot between the liner and the guide plate. The guide plate has an upstream end and a downstream end wherein the downstream end is closer to the lining than the upstream end to control turbulent flow of the exhaust gas through the slot and cool the liner. To reduce generation of flow turbulence the tubes within the slot are covered with streamline plates. It allows to decrease a mixing between hot and cold gas flows and improve the liner cooling.

Each one of the shafts (11a-11c) of the at least three spools (10a-10c) are independently rotatable with respect to each other. The invention further comprises electrical generators (G1-G3) mounted on each of the shafts (11a-11c) of the at least three spools (10a-10c), the output power of the generators being independently controllable and at least 60 percent of a total output power supplied to said load (200) in a form of electrical and rotational power is generated by the at least three generators (G1-G3) in the form of electrical energy.
Two-spool gas turbine arrangement
The invention concerns land-based gas turbine plants with a two-spool gas turbine arrangement for generating electrical power. The invention comprises two spools. The first spool comprises a first shaft, a first compressor and a first turbine. The second spool comprises at least a second shaft and a second turbine. The shafts of the first and the second spools are independently rotatable of each other. The invention further comprises the first generator and the second generator having nominally substantially equal power ratings, and the rotating parts of the first generator and the second generator have nominally substantially equal rotational speed ratings, and at least 60 percent of a total output power supplied to said load in a form of electrical and rotational power is generated by the two electrical generators.
Erosion suppression system and method in an exhaust gas recirculation gas turbine system
In an embodiment, a method includes flowing an exhaust gas from a turbine of a gas turbine system to an exhaust gas compressor of the gas turbine system via an exhaust recirculation path; evaluating moist flow parameters of the exhaust gas within an inlet section of the exhaust gas compressor using a controller comprising non-transitory media programmed with instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions; and modulating cooling of the exhaust gas within the exhaust recirculation path, heating of the exhaust gas within the inlet section of the exhaust gas compressor, or both, based on the evaluation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HIGH EFFICIENCY POWER GENERATION USING A NITROGEN GAS WORKING FLUID
A method of power production using a high pressure/low pressure ratio Brayton Power cycle with predominantly N.sub.2 mixed with CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2O combustion products as the working fluid is provided. The high pressure can be in the range 80 bar to 500 bar. The pressure ratio can be in the range 1.5 to 10. The natural gas fuel can be burned in a first high pressure combustor with a near stoichiometric quantity of pressurised preheated air and the net combustion gas can be mixed with a heated high pressure recycle N.sub.2+CO.sub.2+H.sub.2O stream which moderates the mixed gas temperature to the value required for the maximum inlet temperature to a first power turbine producing shaft power.
AIR RECUPERATED ENGINE WITH AIR REINJECTION
A gas turbine engine assembly including a tap that is at a location up stream of the combustor section for drawing a bleed airflow. An exhaust heat exchanger is configured to transfer thermal energy from the exhaust gas flow into the bleed airflow and communicate the heated bleed airflow into the turbine section where it is expanded to drive the turbine section.
