Sectional fuel manifolds

A multipoint fuel injection system comprises an injection system segment including a circumferentially extending outer support defining a fuel manifold with a plurality of manifold passages extending circumferentially therethrough. A first connector is included at a first circumferential end of the outer support and a second connector is included at a second circumferential end of the outer support opposite the first circumferential end. The first and second connectors are each configured to connect each manifold passage with a manifold passages of a respective outer support of a circumferentially adjacent injection system segment. The system includes a circumferentially extending inner support and a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart feed arms extending radially between the inner support and the outer support. A plurality of outlet openings extend in an axial direction from each feed arm for feeding respective injection nozzles.

BURNER ASSEMBLY, GAS TURBINE COMBUSTOR, AND GAS TURBINE

A burner assembly includes a plurality of bumers for mixing fuel and air. Each of the plurality of burners includes: at least one fuel nozzle for injecting the fuel; and a mixing passage into which the fuel injected from the at least one fuel nozzle and the air are introduced. Each fuel nozzle includes a protruding portion protruding upstream of an inlet of the mixing passage in a flow direction of the air. Each fuel nozzle includes a fuel injection hole formed on a side surface of the protruding portion. At least a portion of a first air passage for flowing the air is formed inside the protruding portion. The first air passage includes: an inlet formed on a surface of the protruding portion on an upstream side of the fuel injection hole in the flow direction of the air; and an outlet formed on a side surface of the protruding portion or a passage wall of the mixing passage. At least a portion of the outlet is formed downstream of the fuel injection hole in the flow direction of the air.

CARTRIDGE TIP FOR TURBOMACHINE COMBUSTOR

A cartridge tip includes a main body having an outer annular wall and an inner core each extending between a respective upstream end and a respective downstream end. The inner core is radially spaced apart from the outer annular wall such that an annular air passage is defined at least partially between the outer annular wall and the inner core. A pilot fuel circuit extends between a pilot inlet defined in the upstream end of the inner core and a pilot outlet defined in a downstream end of the inner core. The pilot fuel circuit extends at least partially along an axial centerline of the cartridge tip. A main fuel circuit extends between a main inlet in the upstream end of the inner core and a plurality of main outlets circumferentially spaced apart from one another and disposed upstream from the from the pilot outlet.

FUEL INJECTOR, COMBUSTOR INCLUDING THE FUEL INJECTOR, AND GAS TURBINE INCLUDING THE COMBUSTOR

A fuel injector has a body extending in an axial direction. The body includes: an axial passage formed so as to extend in the axial direction; a radial passage formed so as to communicate at one end with the axial passage and to open at another end to an outer surface of the body; and an internal passage including a first opening and a second opening open to the outer surface, and formed so as to extend inside the body from the first opening to the second opening. The first opening and the second opening are located opposite to each other across a third opening, through which the radial passage opens to the outer surface, in a circumferential direction centered on an axis of the body.
