Fuel Injection Control Device
In abnormality determination of determining whether fuel injection has been executed normally, making an erroneous determination is prevented. A fuel injection control device 127 that controls a plurality of fuel injection valves each having a coil for energization includes a drive state detection unit 211 that detects a drive state of a fuel injection valve, from an energization current or an applied voltage of the coil of the fuel injection valve, an injection abnormality detection unit 213 that detects an injection abnormality of the fuel injection valve by comparing a fuel injection instruction with the drive state of the fuel injection valve, and an injection abnormality detection execution determining unit 212 that based on a state of an internal combustion engine, determines whether or not to permit execution of injection abnormality detection by the injection abnormality detection unit 213.
Fuel management system capable of improving accuracy of calibration data for converting output value of fuel gauge into remaining amount of fuel in fuel tank
A fuel management system to improve accuracy of calibration data to convert an output value of a fuel gauge into a remaining amount of fuel in a fuel tank includes a fuel tank mounted on a hull of a marine vessel, a fuel gauge to measure a liquid level position of fuel in the fuel tank, and a controller configured or programmed so that in a range where an output value of the fuel gauge changes, measurement reference points are set based on the output value of the fuel gauge. When supplying fuel to the fuel tank, the controller is configured or programmed to obtain calibration data showing a relationship between the output value of the fuel gauge and a remaining amount of the fuel in the fuel tank by comparing an amount of fuel supplied to the fuel tank at each of the measurement reference points and the output value of the fuel gauge at each of the measurement reference points.

ENGINE CALIBRATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method for recalibrating an engine includes querying an engine for a unique engine identifier, sending the unique engine identifier to a cloud-based server, determining one or more engine calibration settings available to the engine based on the unique engine identifier sent to the cloud-based server, presenting the one or more engine calibration settings to a user through a user interface so that the user may select a desired engine calibration setting, sending the desired engine calibration setting as selected by the user to an electronic control unit of the engine, and replacing a current engine calibration with the desired engine calibration setting in the electronic control unit of the engine.

Systems and methods to mitigate gasoline particulate filter pressure sensor degradation
Methods and systems are provided for regenerating a particulate filter positioned in an exhaust system of an engine of a vehicle. In one example, a method comprises obtaining a first air flow in an intake of the engine and obtaining a second air flow in the intake of the engine, where regeneration of the particulate filter is conducted in response to the first air flow differing from the second air flow by at least a threshold amount, where the first air flow and the second air flow comprise air flow routed from the exhaust system to the intake of the engine. In this way, the particulate filter may be regenerated under conditions where a loading state of the particulate filter is not known.

Methods and systems for diagnosing non-deactivated valves of disabled engine cylinders
Methods and systems are provided for a diagnostic routine of a variable displacement engine (VDE) of a vehicle to detect non-deactivated valves of deactivated cylinders due to a degraded valve deactivation mechanism. In one example, a method comprises, during operation of the VDE with one or more cylinders of the VDE deactivated, calculating a variation in a fast-sampled signal outputted by one or more exhaust gas oxygen (EGO) sensors of the VDE over a plurality of engine cycles; determining that the variation is greater than the threshold variation; and in response, indicating that valves of the one or more cylinders are not deactivated. A second method comprises estimating a throttle air flow rate and an engine air flow rate of the VDE; and indicating non-deactivated valves of one or more deactivated cylinders if the throttle air flow rate exceeds the engine air flow rate by a threshold.
