Vehicle control method, vehicle system and vehicle control device
Disclosed is a vehicle control method which comprises the steps of: determining whether or not a squat of a rear end of a vehicle body is equal to or greater than a given level; determining whether or not turning manipulation of a steering device has been made; and, when the turning manipulation of the steering device is determined to have been made, controlling each part of an engine (4) to reduce an output torque of the engine (4), wherein, in response to the determination that the turning manipulation of the steering device has been made, a reduction amount of the output torque of the engine is increased when the squat of the rear end of the vehicle body is equal to or greater than the given level, as compared to when the squat is less than the given level.
Method for operating a drive device and corresponding drive device
An internal combustion engine with a plurality of cylinders is a drive device in which the drive torque available can be reduced. The ignition timing which is set at the internal combustion engine is adjusted in the retarded direction starting from an initial ignition timing until the ignition timing corresponds to a threshold ignition timing. To reduce the drive torque further, at least one cylinder, among the plurality of cylinders, is deactivated by suspending fuel injection into the cylinder, and the remaining cylinder(s) continue to be operated with fuel injection using the ignition timing. The remaining cylinders of the internal combustion engine which continue to be operated are supplied with a quantity of fuel which is larger in comparison with an initial quantity of fuel present before the cylinder deactivation, to set a substoichiometric fuel/oxygen ratio.
CONTROL APPARATUS FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A CPU performs a regeneration process of stopping combustion control in one or some of cylinders and making the air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture in the other cylinders or cylinder richer than a theoretical air-fuel ratio, when the amount of PM collected by a GPF increases. In performing the regeneration process, the CPU itself compensates for a fall in the output of an internal combustion engine by gradually increasing the filling efficiency of the other cylinders or cylinder. It should be noted, however, that since the output of the internal combustion engine temporarily fluctuates, the CPU compensates for the fluctuations through the use of a second motor-generator. The CPU varies the retardation amount of a timing of starting the regeneration process with respect to a timing of gradually increasing the filling efficiency, in accordance with the state of a battery.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A CPU prompts a user to drive a vehicle to a repair shop by operating a display when an amount of PM deposited in a GPF increases. When a regeneration request for the GPF is input from a shop-side terminal in the repair shop, the CPU performs a regeneration process in a state in which the vehicle stops. The CPU controls a temperature of the GPF such that the temperature at the time of execution of the regeneration process becomes lower when an opening/closing member is in a closed state than when the opening/closing member is in an open state.
Agricultural production machine
An agricultural production machine, such as a combine, forage harvester or tractor, is disclosed. The agricultural production machine includes a drive assembly with an internal combustion engine, an electric energy supplying system having an electric auxiliary machine, and a driver assistance system with a control system that is configured to control the internal combustion engine, the electric auxiliary machine, and at least one power consumer that can be driven by the drive assembly. The internal combustion engine operates at the lowest possible rotational speed, with the electric energy supplying system configured to support the internal combustion engine by connecting the electric auxiliary machine at this lowest possible rotational speed when connecting a load.
ENGINE CONTROL APPARATUS
If an engine coolant temperature is equal to or lower than a first low-temperature determination value and a battery temperature is equal to or lower than a second low-temperature determination value when a request to start up an engine is made, the advancement driving of a variable valve operating mechanism is first started. Then, when an advancement amount of the variable valve operating mechanism later becomes equal to or larger than a prescribed startup start determination value, is started.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COORDINATION OF SKIP-FIRE AND AFTERTREATMENT HEATER OPERATION TO MAINTAIN EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE
A system includes an aftertreatment system heater of an exhaust aftertreatment system coupled to an engine A controller coupled to the aftertreatment system heater is configured to determine a condition of an exhaust gas from an engine and compare the condition to a predefined threshold. If the condition of the exhaust gas does not meet the predefined threshold, the controller is configured to determine whether an engine operating condition is met for activating a cylinder deactivation operating mode for the engine. If the engine operating condition is met, the controller is configured to operate the engine in the cylinder deactivation operating mode by deactivating a cylinder of a plurality of cylinders. If the engine operating condition is not met, the controller is configured to activate the aftertreatment system heater to heat the exhaust gas.
METHOD FOR ACCELERATING A VEHICLE FROM REST
A method for accelerating a vehicle from rest, including controlling an engine according to a first control strategy; receiving a mode indication selecting a launch control mode for accelerating; controlling the engine according to a second control strategy; in response to greater than zero accelerator position, controlling to increase throttle valve opening and engine control operational conditions to limit engine torque output; while in the second control strategy, receiving an indication to end control by the second control strategy; and in response to indication, controlling according to the first control strategy causing the vehicle to accelerate from rest, the first acceleration rate greater than the second rate corresponding to accelerating from rest after sequentially controlling according to the first and second control strategies; the second acceleration rate corresponding to accelerating from rest by controlling according to the first control strategy without previously controlling according to the second control strategy.
MARINE PROPULSION AND GENERATOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A marine propulsion system for a marine vessel includes an engine effectuating rotation of an output shaft, multiple batteries configured to power a marine vessel load, and an alternator having a rotor that is driven into rotation by the output shaft and that outputs a charge current to the batteries. The marine propulsion system further includes a control system configured to operate the engine in a propulsion mode and a generator mode. Upon receiving a generator mode command to start the engine in the generator mode, the control system operates the engine in accordance with a set of generator parameters to charge the batteries while a shift system of the marine propulsion system is locked in a neutral position such that the propulsor cannot be engaged and the marine vessel remains stationary.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING TEMPERATURE OF AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM OF VEHICLE
A method of maintaining a temperature of an aftertreatment system of a vehicle, the method including: operating, by a controller, a retarder reducing driving force of a propeller shaft of the vehicle in response to a retarder operation request signal; operating, by the controller, a jake brake device which discharges a fuel-air mixture compressed in an explosion stroke of the engine to an exhaust pipe and decreases revolutions per minute (RPM) of the engine or an exhaust brake device which blocks a discharge of the exhaust gas of the engine to a rear end of the exhaust pipe and decreases the RPM of the engine, in order to remove the output error value; and controlling, by the controller, the engine so that an amount of exhaust gas introduced into the aftertreatment system is decreased.
