CONTROLLER AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE, AND MEMORY MEDIUM

A controller for vehicle is provided. A determining section obtains fuel pressure in a delivery pipe and performs a rationality check for determining whether the obtained fuel pressure is within a normal range. The determining section shifts the normal range toward a high pressure side when a second index value of a vehicle outside temperature is higher than a first index value as compared with when the second index value is not higher than the first index value. The second index value is obtained when the determining section is activated. The first index value is stored in a nonvolatile memory before a main switch is turned off so that power supply is stopped.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, AND INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

A control system includes a controller. The controller acquires a crank counter value each time a fixed time elapses. The controller calculates the number of the crank counter values corresponding to the top dead center of the plunger between a previously acquired crank counter value and a currently acquired crank counter value with reference to the map each time the crank counter value is acquired and calculate the number of driving times of the high pressure fuel pump by integrating the calculated number.

The detector includes a detection data obtainer obtaining the detection data and storing the detection data in a storage upon having an input of a trigger signal, and a detection data transmitter transmitting the detection data stored in the storage to the control unit, and the control unit includes a trigger output unit outputting the trigger signal at a certain rotation angle timing of the internal combustion engine, and a detection data receiver obtaining the detection data from the detector.

Vehicle control apparatus

Provided is a vehicle control apparatus which can output, to the outside, a signal input from a sensor to an arithmetic processing unit while keeping delay at a lower level. An ECU (vehicle control apparatus) includes an arithmetic processing unit having a pair of an input port and an output port assigned to a sensor signal indicating a signal output from a sensor. The arithmetic processing unit performs arithmetic processing by using the sensor signal input from the input port, and outputs the sensor signal from the output port.

Each of a plurality of control devices (10, 11, 12) of an engine control system (1) is provided with a drive control unit (100, 110, 120) which controls the drive of an engine unit to be controlled according to memory information stored in a memory of the control device, a memory information output unit which outputs the memory information stored in the memory of the control device to other control devices, and a memory information update unit which writes memory information received from the memory information output units of other control devices into the memory of the control device.

Method and device for predictive open-loop and/or closed-loop control of an internal combustion engine and internal combustion engine having the device for carrying out the method

A method for predictive open-loop and/or closed-loop control of an internal combustion engine with control variables pursuant to a model of the engine with characterizing variables and a control circuit for the control variables. The control variables are adjusted in an open-loop or closed-loop manner by measuring actual values and specifying target values of the characterizing variables and, optionally, depending on the boundary and/or environmental and/or ageing conditions. The characterizing variables are controlled pursuant to a model of the engine with the characterizing variables and a control circuit with the control variables. The controlling is part of a model-based predictive control, wherein the characterizing variables of the engine model are calculated and the control variables of the engine are adjusted in a predictively controlled manner. A model-based predictive non-linear controller is used for the controlling, which is constructed in a modular manner with a number of model-based predictive control modules.
